Re: (SoCal EJ1)
Call me crazy but check this out... The rear cabin of my car is completely gutted out and Ive been using the OEM cardboard/ carpet to cover the spair tire area.
I just put in my battery box and bolted down the cargo box in the back.. So I dont have anything covering the spair anymore, I also have a X bar in the back over this area making it difficult to have any sort of cover..
You guys think it would be a good idea to maybe get some measurements and grab some sheet metal, tap for some threads, and get some wingnuts for an aluminum flooring in the trunk???
Im just throwing the idea out there being i need the spair since i do daily drive the car, and I do tend to throw **** back there... any other suggestions would help..

Re: (Thateguhate)
well, it's not exactly an x-brace, but this is what I did on my other car.
spare tire was accessible, you just need to be a little creative

well gentlemen... I think it may be time to get rid of the coupe. I have about 7-8 grand invested not including the price of the car when I bought it and it is still a peice of ****. The driver side quarter panel is rusting pretty bad and not in just one area. I also am going to need a new power steering rack. Not to mention after all that cash I have nothing really to show except a peice of **** automatic civic.
s2k time? or maybe just a new hatch or coupe shell and I will put the majority of my parts on it...I dont know I am at a loss..

I spray in bedlinered my trunk, and have my Si wheel spare and haul all sorts of stuff in my car, with I've thought about making a cover but have more important things to do with the house.

Well, ASR swaybar does NOT work on my car... the reservoir fitting interferes with the swaybar where it loops over the LCA.
Necessary shitty MS Paint simulation:
Swaybar and subframe brace is for sale. Partially installed, only to find out it won't work, never used, in great condition. Asking $300 for it. Goes for $380 plus tax new.
