Doing a swap is not hard at all, definitely do it yourself! You'll learn so much, just take your time. First time I did one with a friend it took 12hrs, now I can have the motor/tranny out in 1.5hrs lol.

No problem man! I did it with a hoist but you can do it either way, whatever works for you.
Are you planning on going D to B? If so you'll need an engine (obviously lol), trans, shift linkage, axles, ECU, distributor, manifolds, mounts and rear T bracket. If you're buying a complete swap all of these parts should be included.

^^^^Technical discussion has its own forum. Dont clutter this one up with a bunch of questions. Post a thread in the appearance/build section of the forums to keep us updated on your swap. Good luck

Where are all the OG EJ1 owners who were so chill in this thread that we could all have technical conversations and post pictures all at the same time and no one cared.

Oh, and to keep this on topic since the title CLEARLY says post pictures and NO other posts should obviously be allowed in this thread

Don't worry you guys I'm pretty sure the dude who started the thread wouldn't mind you discussing what's done with your ej1's. ej1ryder isn't anyone who should be telling anyone anything. Don't trip about that dude.
heres an ej1 i saved on my computer and my completely stock ej1 who someone said wasn't an ex.

Plans? I bet it drives nice the way it is tho. I love the way a stock ej1 drives, sure they have a fair amount of bodyroll and understeer when all stock, but they are still chuckable/throwable in the twisties. What kinda susp setup u runnin? And stretched tires aint my cup of tea, but those wheels look wide so u probly dont have much choice without some rolled fenders. Car looks good tho, stock is clean. Love the 90's styling.

What you thinking? Should I go with 195/45 or 195/50 tires?
