Yeah I was looking at the Rota replicas, the Track Rs. But they're almost 500 without rubber, and these are 600 with rubber and shipping. I haven't been able to find rubber cheaper then those HPs get with the package. Plus Ill wait til I can buy some real CPs. I will someday, it took time to graduate to the Airforce Ones, itll take time to graduate to some real sprint harts.

but until then, which color? Im scared of those hyper black rims, I havent seen any in person and Im not sure if they are going to look more black or chrome.

Those CPFs look real nice, but I really like the chrome lip that the cp rs have and the HPs have, so I'd take the HPs over the Spun replicas.

my fenders aren't 100% clean. i can try to take a few pics today. the holes are cut good and i sprayed the holes with undercoating so it doesn't rust. they're in the right spot too. a little downside is that the markers aren't dc/eg markers...they're for an ek. i'm down for shipping as long as it isn't too much.

 

na i dont want them then cuz the ek holes are gonna be to big so i cannot fix them and get DC ones in.

yup i should be getting the rest of the money i need this weekend, but if i dont then ill have it on may 5th. then me and my friend are fixing any dings it may have from being shipped from japan, and then im puttin it on, and primering it untill i get money to respray the whole car.

And after the trooper was filling out the paper work, he came back over and was like so did you swap out the trunk because it says Honda, not Acura. To make a long story short, I said yes. And he was like "oh, because I didn't think it was stolen, but just thought I'd ask. I'm not up to date with these new cars."

I hate the front tag "law", it' so pointless. I guess I'll mount it in front of the grill...

My neighboor, he's a local sherif in Santa Clarita So Cal, he told me that the front plate law is inforced because in hit-and-runs often it's just a bumper to bumper but the plates fall often a good amount of the time. Leading the fuzz to the runaway. That's why it HAS to be on the front and HAS to be on the grill. To the side wont cut it and in your cab it wont fall off. And with the country modernizing, with cameras at the stop lights, if you dont have a front plate, it makes putting a license to the car running the light a lot harder, especially at a turn signal.

Personaly I dont see why people fight that law, it's a license plate for crying out loud and to me its common sense why they enforce it.

It's even more common sense to push every law no matter what for the soul fact that its a law, but like I said, its just a license plate, its not a horrific birthmark on your baby.

I choose to make it hard for them to see my plates but Im not breaking any local laws. I took this idea from a cop telling my buddy "its not againt the law to bend a piece of metal son, your just making excuses." Because he has a 98 camaro and the front comes to a point.

I bent it up under that middle piece of the LS bumper, a camera cant see it I tried from the stop lights height . hehe Now I just need to tilt my read license and buy a can of that reflective spray.

i, like 99% of everybody in this thread, dispise the front plate. it scratches the hell out of the paint behind the plate and looks just plain ugly. i haven't had a ticket in the four years i've had no front plate...

I ran 8 months without it and then got a ticket. then I ran with it under my grill for like two months and then got a warning. lol. I guess its just my luck righ.

After I got home from class tonight, I put it in front of the grill. I [freak]ing hate it.. looks so retarted.

just got my fine in the mail today from a ticket i got on the way to school a month ago. was goin 55 in a 50 on a back road, and a Highway Patrol passes me, flips around and pulls me over and lies and writes that i was going 66. what an ******* piece of ****. and i got a fix it for my license plate.

well anyway the ticket is f ucking $397 and if i get the plate signed off then its $299

[freak] that guy.


oh and JBJ. dope car. i noticed u didnt shave the molding when u put the JDM front on. everyone seems to critisize cars with jdm fronts and side molding, but i dont really wanna shave mine.
