Its not expensive to shave your bay. Its just time consuming.

If you have nice paint on the outide of your car and you know some with a welder your supplies equal:

1 Gallon primer = 60
Activator = 28
75/25 mix for the welder = 35
Sand paper = 40-50
Filler/Fiberglass and finishing puddy = at most 60
Grinding/Blending wheels = 25
Base = 61
Reducer = 15
Clear = 26
Activator = 28

All the wire hiding is free and junk.

For all that is is just under 400. And if you have some of this or search you can probably even find better deals.

Now I spent more than this but I am just saying to do the bay only. You can make not as expensive.


Oh and thanks for the comments. Cage is done, Chassis and jams are done, as well as the engine bay.

Just gotta work on the the miscellaneous stuff

nice... I would just replace that stock R/C antenna w/ an S2K one, and lower the front just a touch more.

thanks man..glad u got to see it...it sits lower in the front..it was parked crooked...and i will do an s2k antenna when i can find one cheap...im kinda rolling on a budget since im back in school

damn, the paint came out wicked in that shaved bay! and the other car with the si-vtec front lip, i think it suits your car perfectly! as for my heap, like i said before, i'm going boost now, i have a top mount manifold being made right now for me, i picked up my forged CP pistons yesterday, and the block is being honed for the new pistons on tuesday, here's ome progress pics on the manifold:
