im getting that like ghetto coilover bounce up in the front..i mean the ride over all is nice for how dumped i am..but i get this bounce that has to look ridiculous from the outside, plus it just hops it sux...so you guys think gettin a softer spring in the rear will make it better?...

The place I ordered my setup from specifically said that's why you go soft in the rear....you need to soak up the unsprung weight when the front end bounces up. If both the front and rear are both stiff, there is no place for the weight to transfer so it just bounces like a ****.

Yeah the strut settings help, but at that low of a stance the stiffness of the springs really comes into play.

How do you have the fronts set? All the way soft or all the stiff or just somewhere in the middle?

Fronts as stiff as they go, rears as soft as they go. You don't want the fronts bottoming out so you get them stiff...and when you do hit a bump, the stiff front sends weight to the rear and if its soft the rear will absorb most of the weight transfer and minimize bounce.

When I hit a bump I normally feel the rear bounce or dip a little bit, but thats about it.

Hmm... Ghetto bounce? I guess I'd have to see it in person, but yeah I think getting softer rates for the rear would be beneficial to you. I think your rates are close to 10K/9K? That's a bit stiff for the rear. You probably want maybe like 6K or 7K...

Bounces:

Ghetto bounce = Cadillac/Boat-like bounce, swaying, long up and down motion.

Race car bounce = quick/fast up and down motion, really stiff like there is no compression.

LOL

With this analogy, I'd say he's getting the race car bounce...but ALOT of it.

Nice... What type of suspension they use? For some reason it seems like that generation will just have bad camber issues??

I've noticed some dumped 06/07 Civics around here, and the rear wheel has some really bad camber lol.
