Dag, beaks rips another.

I don't even know what I would do to fix it, but I'm sure it will be expensive. If you can get a hold of a ctr frame, by all means it will be better.

But if it's hard to come by, I'd go with the si frame and asr plate. My setup has been great to me so far:

K-sport suspension, 22mm itr sway bar, asr plate, stock lca:

BTW, I do it all from auto-x to daily driver to random times of just being special

No track races yet.

over the years the car has been tracked a couple time, lots of spirited drives, and the daily wear and tear of normal driving. although within the last couple weeks of the subframe tearing, it was all daily driving. it's hard to pinpoint what exactly caused the tear or when it happened

actually I think BSQ was worse...there have been (somewhat) isolated problems with beaks

I THINK beaks has a redesigned kit...I saw some pics here of somebody using them (once again I think)

Sorry bro. By the way, this is more common with those of you running a larger swaybar yes? I've heard of this before, only with the larger diameter bars. I also think if you have stiff sus + roll cage and or bars in the trunk it will agrivate this further due to less body roll creating more stress on the subframe.

i have a friend in cali that ripped his sub frame with just a 19mm rear, no rollbar/cage. And just a rear upper strut bar.

Here is the thing that gets me. This chassis came with two sizes stock, i.e. the SiR and CTR. How is it Honda never had a recall if this was an issue? There are plenty of guys in JP running their CTRs on mountains and tracks all day with at least the stock size. What the dealy yo?

the u.s market got a smaller/thinner rear subframe then our jdm counterparts even the 99-00 si has a better subframe then what came on the 96-00 hatchbacks

Where did you find this data? I'd like to see the difference.
