Mountain driving..? Trust me, you dont need ITR brakes to be able to stop up there, but its your money..

-wh0's 2300lb CX braked awesome for a weekend of track driving, no fade, etc... plenty of 120 to 80 MPH braking too

A drag strip is not a track. I've followed his progress since he started.

You can't fit anyhting smaller than 15" wheels over ITR brakes.

true you guys say he might not NEED them, but he wants them, and it is his car, so he can do what he likes.

if you think about it, how many parts do people have on their car that they don't really need? practically every modification upgrade is not needed for street driving, yet people get them because they like them....

the arguments are valid, but this quote is also valid. so there arent any winners.

well , ive faded the **** out of stock brakes , heat warped drums and boiled brake fluid out of my master cylinder. all i know is , my current brake setup is more than a night and day difference. although on my last car the itr brake setup never gave me problems, my spoon setup now is a night and day difference from that and i havent even put them through their paces yet.

i dont fix my car up for anyone on ht as im sure boostedjeff doesnt. his car isnt a dedicated trailor queen drag car . he wants to be able to drive to the track , slick it , run rast times . throw tires back on and hit the twisties . im the same way . i like having every area covered enough to have fun wherever track i go. could he get better performance if he 100% dedicates that car to the strip??? hell yes. does he want that? no. so whats the problem?

why even argue?

when i did the 5 lug i moved onto wider rims, stickier tires and i used generic pads and kept the oem rotors.

i notice that these brakes dont overheat as quick as the stocks. so therefore i can keep braking late into the turns.

with my stocks i noticed i could brake late into turns and it'd quickly heat up too much.

and the weight difference isnt gigantic. i believe the only people who actually have a say in the weight department are those who have completely stripped their cars of the crap they dont need. otherwise, shut yer face. with stripping the car for weight savings, its all or nothing. the inbetween doesnt help crap

its dumb to go 5 lug if you are going to be racing your car on the drag strip. you cant use smaller then 15's and wheel selection isnt as easy. i was using itr brakes that were drilled for 4 lug but recently went to si brakes so i could fit lensos.

You guys need better brake pads and fluid Solves 99% of brake "problems".

what the expletive are you talking about. not a track? Im not going to down autox or anything like that, but would prefer straight line driving anyday. whats wrong with having a car that wins drag events, autox events, and car shows. Stop being such a ****** hater. these people arent all on my nuts, so get over that thought. they are just a bunch of people that have "watched my car grow." and seen all the hard work and time that I have put into it. I dont need some ***** like you coming in here and trying to hinder my pride.

And just for everyone that says that 15inch wheels are hard to get for drag....

26x10/15 biotch.

Can't satisfy everyone... I want your car to buy me ice cream today... but that's not going to happen...

Should I be mad because your car won't buy me icecream???

Just because its your car??

I mean, I thought you were building it for my joy and approval.. and I want ice cream, and I'm not getting it right now

I guess that means you failed at your project build??

So your car may be fast and may do what you want it to do very well, but it DOESN'T get me ice cream, so I'M MAD!!!

...

...

...

That's what this argument is sounding like to me at least...

Little weight difference? Try again.

Everyone is on your nuts. Everyone is on EK Squads nuts.

If I'm hindering your pride sorry, but I'm just one screen name, so don't let it get to you. I think I'd have fun with you out on track.

See what happens when you stop posting pictures...

Everyone starts thinking about... life...

Who they are; why they are; what they want to be; do you really exist??

So, lets hold off on those questions till your life is threatened and you think about survival. Like the normal person, and just look at more pictures:

So, one of my fav ek's...
