I think we are gona have to develop a new ej1 based group. im down to start everything, the ej1squad OGs are no longer active here, and the op is long gone. WHO IS DOWN FOR OUR OWN HT EJ1 CLUB???? I WANNA SEE SOME RESPONSES AND I WILL START THE THREAD!!!! we need to brainstorm for an appropriate name, and i am willing to handle membership and numbers. i love these cars too much to not do this... all are welcome, BUT, BAY AREA STAND UP!!!! WE NEED SOME BAY EJ1 MEETS AND CRUISES!!!!!

dont worry we got love for our non-moonroof brethren! so wats the word? u guys interested in forming the new squad? we need to brainstorm ideas for the name, and also need to set rules. I think one sound rule is you have to own an ej1/2 and be active on the thread, also please, it has to be said, leave the rice to uncle ben and the fine people at rice a roni.

also we need a name. im gonna go have a smoke and brainstorm, ill check back tomorrow to see some of your guys ideas and we will come to a conclusion. then all i gota do is fire up a thread and we can start numbering members n postin up our coupes.

It would have to include the chassis code ej1 to distinguish us from the 6th gen coupes....even tho ej2s are more than welcomed.
Id sudgest "crew" over "squad"...ej1 crew. If thats taken just add v.2?

I REALLY Like the idea of having a ej1 crew/squad. But I have to agree with 89dxcivic. Most of those names sound cliche/tough guy/teenage ricer like IMO. But once the names figured out id definitely be apart if allowed.

No im dead serious. Cant you tell by the capital DIE in the name? Lol jokes aside im just really trying to stay away from anything with the word "squad" in it, its really played out and im sick of hearing squad this squad that... Im just as mature as the next guy, but i am a tuff guy, so the mob/mafia ideas dont seem stupid to me at all. To me mafia is symbolic of family and codes of honor, so you can take it however you want, but i think its representitive of a close knit family with rules and standards. If anything "squad" or "crew" sounds more teenybopperish to me than the other ideas. Id be willing to meet you halfway and call it ej1 familia.
