i think ill slap the lip on and see what it looks like. i was thinkin of painting it red to match the rims... ?
as far as sideskirts go, i think im ganna have 2 hold back for the time being. i might pick up (there at my buddies house) some EK side skirts to see if i can make them look good.

well the only two tracks around here are 1/8 mile. i wish there was a 1/4mile.

i wish i could but the track im going to is the nicer one around here but they dont give time slips on the regular nights where you can run all night. the only thing i can get is the 1/8mile time and reaction time thats on the board. but they just dont print up slips unless its a real bracket racing or somethin like that.

red lip maight look alright, but it will be total hate/love for everyone different i guess. Try photoshoping it after you put it on and then deside.
As for skirts still em from your buddy. i am such a sucker for EF's with side skirts

yeah it is real lame and for the most part its at random line up but if you ask they will let you line up with someone you want to run. but its the nicer track and they dont make you wear a helmet and you can ride a passenger.

atleast you can run people you wanna run... up here at test and tune its totally random and if you dont have a muscle car running atleast 12's then you dont get as many runs ... atleast thats how its always been for me

I'd steer clear of the red lip. I think it will make it look cheap and ricey. IMO... Just put it on stock. Even if you paint it flat black it will still look painted no matter what you do.

Can someone chop a picture of my car, with the face of the rim red, with a machined silver lip please? I'm thinking of a change up... Only costs $5 to do so... so I dont much care. I'm thinking this one...

yeah you get to run ppl you want for the most part. but its about a 50/50 mix of muscle and imports most the time and its just when and how many times you get in line to run. not if your a muscle P.O.S

 

lol Muscle cars arent POS. I have 2 in my family, my SBC Cutlass, and my parents LT1 Camaro. Both would spank my Honda. And both require less maintence to run strong.

well muscle cars are ok. but its the owners that ruin them. theyre mind set is i have a v8 theres no way a 4cyl can out run me. atleast thats how most are around here. and then its great when they are beating and they cant believe it.

for the most part such is true. Unless it's non NA, I dont think a 4 banger will take an all motor 8. But if you put 5K into a 4 cyl, and the same 5K into the muscle car, it'll still be the muscle car on top. Dont get me wrong, there can be some quick 4cyl cars, but how long they last boosted, and how much it costs to do so, opposed to how long you can spray a v8 for, I think I'll stick to an all motor mildly built DD Honda, and dump money into making my hot rods fast. But thats just my .02, I like to keep my things nice and not blow them up lol.

 

betsy, do not do anything with the rims, leave it the way it is or you will make it look bad.

All i have to say is displacement vs. technology...
and as we all know, technology is improving everyday while displacement stays the same!!!

if you build ur car right it should be able to last boosted just as long as a v8 on spray. its the people that just slap a turbo on and dont tune right that ruin there shiiiit.

No, Misha your car is white, so white lip matches, but red lip on flat black car is the equivilent to painting air vents and speaker grilles IMO..

you make a good point... it could be kinda ricy but on the other hand it might look good confusion has set in

 

paint it red. it doesnt take much to paint it black again. but i think it would look horrible red.
