All in the name of padding my wallet.
Oh well, I'm sure as hell not painting it now...I just got in an accident on my lunch break.

Well thats rather shitty. Is the car gone or can it be fixed?
I never understood the logic in spending money to save money... There comes a point when you spend more than you save.

It might be able to be fixed, but I bet it will never be straight again. Front right corner damage - will at least need a hood, fender, headlight, and bumper. I'll have to assess the damage further tonight when I get home. I won't throw money at it to straighten out a bent core support though...might just whop it hard with a hammer a few times and replace all the panels I can. I don't think I bent any suspension, which is good, and I didn't crack the radiator. It sucks though...I've had this car for 2.5 years...about the longest I've had any of my cars.
I haven't invested that much money in this thing to save money. Honestly the most I've spent was rebuilding the HF transmission. My whole deal was to spend as little as possible yet save as much as possible. Some people go overboard. I used to have a turbo Civic, and once you understand how easy it is to spend so much money and pretty much **** it into the wind, spending a lot less (but still spending some) to save money seems a little more logical.

It sure as hell does. I kind of gave up on that anyhow once I got a job that was only 7 miles from my house. When I initially started that idea, I was driving about 140 miles per day.
Well you can at least rest assured of this...if I do end up getting another car, I'm 99% sure it will be another sedan.

The modification is temporary not the car.... especially cut springs- it has to be temporay and the oem rims and the lug nuts are temporary... I need some freakin aftermarket rims- or BMW rims...!
so I'm keeping this car for a long long long time seeing how I have a lot of plans for it... ask EFenthusiast- I told him about it...
I love my EF :needs a sticker that says that:

To find out how much of an impact it had on the car, check the door gaps, in the corners especially, and check the sail panel for any creasing. If you dont see any irregular gaps, or creases, just replace the sheetmetal and it will be most likely fine.

Thanks, I'll check that. I don't think I hit nearly that hard though...It was more of my front right corner shaving the front bumper off her car. If anything is severely damaged, it's going to be the core support around the headlight area and the inner fender. I'm really beginning to think I'll be able to slap on some new sheet metal and hammer a little and it will look fine. Bolt holes won't necessarily line up, but I'm not building a concourse vehicle here.

Maybe its a San Jose thing... Mine has some trouble idling when its cold/warming up in the morning. Steering wheel shakes a little and the engine almost stalls too. Our car are used to warm weather
