Re: Official EF SEDAN SQUAD Thread
You running twin thermos and a full sized rad?
make sure they're blowing the right way (pulling air through).
You could try running a different coolant too, or a lower temp thermostat.

im running a dual core full aluminum eg rad from ebay. boosted b16 daily driven here in PA, cold winters, hot summers, never had a problem. you can also go with a sciracco dual core full size aluminum rad, it will tuck under rad support (100 bux ebay.) i paid 80 shipped for mine. running one 12" slim fan on the front of it. no issues what so ever.

i guess i should introduce myself to everyone...my names matt, i have been lurking on HT for years. i have 88 dx sedan. b16 turbo setup. shes 2 weeks away from getting completely gutted and sent to paint and body. 1 owner car, original paint right now and its pretty nice except the wheel arches are gone(hate NE winters.) heres some pics from 2 years ago at the ef meet, this is before i slammed it on FF coilovers and went to a trac bar, eg rad setup and turbo.

Really tidy! Are those r31 skyline wheels?
Re: Official EF SEDAN SQUAD Thread
thank you for the compliment. no they are an aftermarket wheel that the original owner purchased in 88 for the car after he took delivery. i forget the name off hand but i have the original purchase papers for the wheels in a file folder, ill look it up. i have never seen another set before, and the company is no longer around. ill get the name for you...i have to refinish them this winter, blast and a fresh powder coat will set them up nicely.
i have narrowed my paint options to two colors. 2013 for oxford white or Suzuki white pearl splash. i have a gsxr 1000 that i have owned for about 4 years now and just realized this fall that the white paint a a VERY VERY subtle pearl/flake to it. it took me 4 years to notice. at first glance its just bright white but under extreme sun it has a very hard to see pearl. kinda sorta the idea i want with the car. i dont want some ricey, gawdy pearl ****, but i want it to stand out from "fleet" white. heres some pics of my bike..you cant see the "pearl" in the pics and its sorta the same in person, unless you get really really close. like to hear opinions on this guys, standard white? or a really really hard to see flake/pearl?

Re: Official EF SEDAN SQUAD Thread
You paint looks like its in good enough condition to restore. Why not keep your paint and just get it properly detailed?

Re: Official EF SEDAN SQUAD Thread
The paint has been restored multiple times. my good friend is a professional detailer. its rusting out pretty bad in the usual locations. the paint on the hood is cracking. buffing helps but only for so long. rust will be gone and car will be mint once again. just cant decide on color lol. oxford white is similar to frost white.
btw those wheels are "comfort pros"
