had to replace my oil pan, didnt crack but i did hit something big. I hate how they always repair the roads and leave those big *** ****ing metal plates in the ground that are raised up like 2 inches. kind of like driving over a speed bump n ****. it got to the point where i felt the head pretty dry, sounded like not enough oil was going to the head. fixed it before it got worse. the engine is like 2 fingers from the ground

replaced the oil pan and added the skid plate.

My Innovative protects my oil pan from anything that would stand that tall to begin with.

In need of opinions.
I picked up a complete subharness, engine harness, and dashboard harness from an EX sedan. I was gonna put it my car to eliminate the mulitpoint wiring I ran and it would also allow me cruise control. Now whats weird is this EX didnt have A/C. so my question is should I sell all this wiring and buy and LX cruise harness and convert that to integra gauge plugs and multipoint because it would have the A/C wiring in case I return to A/C some day or should I use it, convert the dashboard harness to fit the integra gauges and enjoy the loss of "aftermarket" multipoint wiring and forget about A/C?and then wire for A/C someday if I ever decide to install it? also Im probably getting a new daily driver soon so I can do a major wire tuck, take the enigne out and rebuild it, and paint the car. so I would be modifying the harness for the tuck

its easier to swap over the complete wiring harness. i would do it to save the hassle. and add the cruise control wiring after you get the car running. the cruise control wouldnt be that hard to remove since all you need to do is unwrap all the old tape

btw the ac wiring is its own wiring separate from the engine harness

the a/c wiring is separate? where is it located? I thought it would be tied into the cars main hanress. also I have cruise control wired in but apparently between the 2 diagrams I used something didnt work so this will be easier

very curious about the ac wiring tho. more info. if I could use the entire EX harness and retain wiring for a/c that would be great

also the car is running and the cruise thats built into the EX harness cant be wrong cause its oem wiring

i think the wiring from the ac is 2 wires from the front and it plugs into the blower motor into the cabin. you just need to unwrap it. i remember doing this at one point. it is for a fact wrapped into the wiring harness connected to the interior harness.

I did the complete cabin harness from DX to LX, and then did mpfi swap on a separate DX engine harness.if i wouldve found an ex harness life wouldve been so much easier.

It wouldve also been cheaper since the yard charges around 40 bucks for harness front to back minus relays and such.

yea I already wired up mpfi but I might as well throw that EX harness in. I just need confirmation on which wires to remove from my LX harness. I wonder how many wires there are for the a/c. thank God I have the oem service manual for the civic

This. I kept mine when I did the swap to eventually re-install A/C. Which is right around the corner now.

List of **** (at the moment):
Wheels/Tires
Exhaust
RTA Bushings
Driver's Side Wheel Bearing
15/16" Master + Booster
Reinstall A/C

Should have the above done before August.
