so ok heres the deal. I hear both sides of what could happen but here.

So i pulled to the exit to make the left and I stop. i looked left and saw car far off look and #1 on left. off screen. I looked right and saw the devil coming the other way mauch farther. so i go and while im in the street I looked left just in case can saw the car still far then right again to merge since thats what I wanted to do. SO i look again #2 and see the car wayyyyy closeer than before so I was like ok shes hauling *** so turn mywheels to avoid the accident and stop cuase any more and my car would be more into her lane . I was trying to saty in mine now since i wasn't gonnamake hers since shes speeding. I tried to avoid. The thing is she didn't. SHe should have saw me. look at all the space she had and the visiblity. no cars anywhere around her. i saw her and how could she not be lookling forward and not seeing me. i mean making a left turn I have tolook around. she shoul dbe looking one way. so she didn't brake until the last minute literally. the black is the skid. 20 to 30 feet. also she didn't swurve to miss me at all. she had two lanes(parking and lane 1) to go to i was only sticking out into hers a little less than a foot. thats all she hit. she must to have been speeding and not paying attention. neglagence. so anyways
the bitch plows and rips my bumper off sending it flying like 20 feet. how fucken fast do have to be going to rip off a bumper clean off. seriously.
so i get out and she ok since she has an attitude.
soo i pull over and I give her my ****. i was ready. her freind writes it down and she starts asking question adn blah blah ablh no insurance involved she says and i was i dunno
so finally i get my **** back and i ask for hers. she says no.
iask again and she says she had to go cuase she has to get somewhere. all of a sudden she has to go. my friendly and understanding now wants to leave. so aske give me your ****. i need it. again im late i gotta go. i was late as it is. i have to get going. but does really fast say her phone number and my friend cught it. i did no wi understand why she was speeding. so she leaves before getting her license plate down how do i know if she has a license or insurance or if shes drunk or etc. i don't knwo ****.
so i have 3 witnesses in the car.
so i call the cops and they get there and see. expletive a honda great. they come up with a fucken attitude and are complete dicks with me i know cause i have a honda.so tell them whats up and they don't care that she left but noted it. but they focus onme. they think im lying. making me lie or they tried but i stuck to my story and never admited guilt. so they leave without telling me whos at fault just a buisness card to get the report in 6 weeks or some gay **** like that.
so call the chick today and she says she filed the claim and gaveme the number but still no info. juat a name and a number. and i have to call my insurance again tommorrow. I called before she did my isurance said to contact her before i file the claim but hey noted that I called.
so now what?
what do you guys think??

Did the police even note the tire marks left behind? Did you move your car from the median, where the two yellow lines were? I hope you were able to get her license plate number...that's all you need and you can get her for hit and run since she didn't provide you with her insurance info. Or at least remember the kind of car that hit you. police officers are usually idiots anyway when they see young adults and honda's. I'm 38 and I still get pulled over....no tix...but they get all suspicious that I'm running something illegal under the hood or exhaust. If you have any friends who know someone in law enforcement I would suggest you try and get their help to find out who this lady is and Sue her. Either way you look at she's got 2 counts against her. 1 - She apparantly was speeding judging by your account of the skid marks on the road (Go take pics if you can before they go away for proof) 2 - She hit you.

im no expert but it seems pretty clear that it was her fault.. and if she took your bumper clean off then you HAVE to call the cops and wait for htem to come before anyone can leave the accident. thats how it goes in canada more or less. you shoulda got the liecense plate number for sure. but i understand why you didnt. you were probably a little excited and just didnt think about it at the time. she was probably a little drunk and thats why she had to leave so fast. i woulda got her plate number and called the cops, or somehow keep her there so they could breathalize her ***. but im pretty sure she could get charged with leaving the scene of an accident. that fing sucks though man.

if i ever got pulled over cuz the cop thought i had something illegal under the hood.. id just get out and pop her open and show them a stock motor lol!.

4g4d: heres a picture that you wanted. i coudlnt get any good pictures of coolant lines.. but theres nothing to them. theres the one thats shaped like a C that goes from the manifold to your block.. then theres the one from the firewall to the block right under the C line. thats about it i think.

i also took better pictures of my integra console.. keep in mind its just sitting in there for now.. im still going to screw it in better and what not. its just screwed in at the front under the radio console thingy. and a picture of my bumper light i polished out and took the orange piece out so its clear.

do you have to do the "Y" connector? ive seen some of them w/o it? it is going to cause any vacuum leak problems?

unless your manifold has an extra outlet for one then i think you have to use a Y connector.. or T what ever you like. but i could be wrong.. its for the map sensor so i think you have to have it.

oh and about your plugs.. your going to have one left over that you can either cut off or just tuck away somewhere..

Okay here are some pictures i have questions on:

Picture 1: what plugs into the thing that is circled?

Picture 2: Does that look like the proper route? it goes from the front of the manifold and all the way to the EACV. It looks like coolant goes from the fat hose, and runs all the way to the EACV.

Picture 3: What plugs into the EACV?

Picture 4: What vacuum hose connects to this?

1: never seen that before. i'll have to check mine out maybe i do have it i dont know.
2: ya thats fine. its supposed to be a hose thats attached to a metal tube thats connected to the valve cover vent that goes into the intake pipe.. lol that makes no sense.. i'll take a picture of what im talking about but what you got there is fine. i used to have it like that till the guy i sold my car to swapped in this engine and put the stock hose back on. i hate it. its ugly.
3: there should be 2 hoses on your iacv on your dpfi.. the one that is connected to the block hooks up to that line.
4: i dont know if my manifold has that either.. maybe you can hook up the other map sensor hose to that instead of a Y/T connector. i'll be back and looks at mine.

the lines for the iacv on the dpfi are the same as the mpfi.. one is connected to the manifold and one connects fromt he iacv to the block.. so when you take the old manifold out you just disconnect the line that goes from the iacv to the bolck and hook it up to the mpfi iacv.make sense?
so picture 1: im an idiot.. thats the gas return line.. it comes from the firewall and hooks up there. heres a couple pics of that . kinda shitty

picture 4: i dont have that.. but im sure you can hook up one of the map sensor lines to that and forget about the Y connector. cant think of anything els that would be used for.

picture 2: heres what i was talking about. Name: Picture004-1.jpg

Size: 58.4 KB and again the way yours is hooked up is just fine.

and just for fun a picture of my seats

I know I've been MIA for a while. Life has been difficult between work and not having a roof to sleep under. I've been living out of a bag for a week now and wont be back home till the week after New Years. Internet access is limited so I'm going to reply to everything I've missed while I've been out.
