My freaking god. I worked on my civic 5 hours today to change the alternator and replace a bent toe arm, then went in for an alignment. alignment guy said my tie rods are frozen and I need new ones. How the freak am I supposed to get them off when he can't?
Then he says he can't adjust the rear toe either, because it's toe'd out as much as possible and still not even close to being in specs.

And he said my LCA may be bent in the front passenger, which makes the caster off.

So now I need to
1. Find a way to take out frozen tie rods
2. Get the right toe arms for my rear disc - I used the ones that came with my car
3. Get a front LCA

While working 12 hour shifts. FFFFFUUUUUUU

I used civic toe arms for the rear disc, which is what everyone says to use. But they're too short, and offer no toe adjustment because it's completely toe'd out and still not enough. This happens on both sides so I know it's not a bent something.

The trailing arms have "Prelud" written on them though, which is throwing me off. I have LS meshies so I know bolt pattern is 4x100. And it took DA trailing arm bushings so I'm assuming it's off a DA.

Halp guys? I deliver pizza and can't afford to replace tires every 3 weeks like I've been doing

alright well seems like you got part of the answers to your problem.

First replace and use your original ef toe adjustment arm, that will correct and fix the rear toe.

And for the front toe, if you cant afford to buy new arms, atleast for the meantime i would go to homedepot and buy a little hand torch. I usually just spray pb blaster on the tierods let it sit and hit it with the torch for a few mins and it breaks lose(experience from the tireshop). If your trying to replace the tie rods, just use an impactgun to remove the 17's off the spindles, and you can attempt to use the pickle fork at the same time while trying to remove the nuts to make a tension for the nut and balljoints not to spin.

lmk how it goes, but thats an easy fix. that guy you're going to is ****en lazy

Nope, civic toe arms are too short to correct the toe. Looks like I need ones that are at least 1" longer, if not more.
Would the LCA's affect toe? Maybe' the guy put on DA LCA's and not civic ones?

Front toe isn't off by much, I can deal with that one later. I'll try to get it off, haven't tried yet

dude how are you gonna tell me?

you have the wrong toe adjustment arms. its easy to replace the arms, its only 2 14inch bolts. I did my own rear disk brake conversion along side changing the 40/40 prop valve and mc.

The integra DC toe arms are shorter than the ef(coming off the drum brakes) Unles youre running some different type of trailing arms which i highly doubt, DA, DC, and EG trailing arms are all similar if not identical.

I even helped my homie out with his Big 4 brake conversion onto his DA. We used his DA toe adjustment arms. i dont understand why yours would not work.

I just bought 2 crx toe arms and put them in, my toe is still way toe'd in - the alignment rack couldn't get a reading because it was so bad

This is for me, I know everyone else is saying use the civic ones but they are too short on both sides, for me.

check your thermostat ground the one off your harness if thats not tight then your screwed buddy. if that doesnt work grab jumper cables hook it up to you ground on your battery and then to the motor. if its works you dont have good ground. and add wire from your motor to your chassis.

well, the "tube" was built into the dash ...

im going to tear apart the blower motor housing tommorrow.. there HAS to be something in it....
because, with the switch put on full blast, it feels like it blowing less then" level 1" on any normal honda car.

it came with the car. I am on stock EF toe arms and its still too short. I need them at least 1" longer. It's the same on both sides.

My trailing arms say "prelud" on them, marked in that chalk pen stuff. But DA trailing arm bushings fit

So the other day i decided to peel off my pin stripe by heat gun. But it seems as though it left a sticky residue in place. any suggestions as to how to get it off?

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

Part number for the DA arm is 52341-SR3-000

This place says the same thing fits EG
http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ec/...-medio-uso-_JM

So does this place
http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine...1-SR3-000.html
It also says it fits DC integras
http://www.acurapartswarehouse.com/o...1-SR3-000.html

My question is, does the EF arm come with the 2 hole or 1 hole?

Because these other places are showing it's 2 hole for DA, DC, and EG. And there's some threads saying integra ones are too SHORT, instead of too LONG.

Are EF ones longer or shorter?

If the guy sent me another set of DA arms (that are too short), then my problem is I need EF arms.
