you should be able to use the dx cable, the ends should be the same... it's just freakin long, so your engine bay will look cluttered.

Count me in on the squad. My daily driven beater is an 89 DX 4 door. I bought it as an automatic DPFI car that wasn't running with 211,xxx miles for $100. Over a weekend, I did an OBD0-OBD1, DPFI to MPFI, auto to manual conversion. The swap consists of a Z6, CRX Si tranny, and a P28. I swapped in an 89 CRX Si cluster (for the tach). I drive this car about 150 miles per week and get high 30s to low 40s for my MPG. I love the $100 Wonder!! My Element and CRX get to stay in the garage thanks to the Wonder.

Here's a pic of what it looks like today:

So, am I in?

I saw that car (and pics ) a few years ago. You can be in if you like.

Just how the hell you get that much milage though... I'm getting maybe 25mpg from my Z6 in my SI.

Let's just say, my wife calls my driving style in this car "Granny-ish". I don't think this swap has ever seen VTEC. That's not the purpose of this car for me. That's why the rust and crappy paint don't bother me either. I've got less than $500 total in the car including the fluids and misc. items for the swap and replacing the brakes on all four corners. I like to think of it as my "no liability" car.

dx cable does work.. you have to loop it around the motor mount then to the throttle.seen it done and thats what i did with mine. but an si would look better.

I think 4g4d is talking about the piece that you don't have their in your pic. he's talking about the clear front piece to be put in place on the oem's housing, hence a more clear view rather than what is on the OEM's glass covering..

Is this what your talking about 4G4D????

I would really rather have people be able to post on both sites. At least half the people in the squad dont talk on here at all.

EFSS is on h-t with a 2nd home on EFCS. You started this thing here and this is its primary home. If a person cant post here I dont know why they should be in the squad. It isnt very hard to sign up...

We dont have people posting on here wanting to join EFCS I cant see why it should be the other way around.
