hey guys,

what sort of hoods are available for us usdm front guys. I have been looking for one with an inverted scoop life above but cant really find anything tasteful

It seems the options are zc style, sir style, invader style, gude, any others?

You can get the sir style hood to fit the usdm front.

I would stick with a metal hood. I've heard too many horror stories about CF hoods, unless you don't mind hood pins.

ppl have problems cuz they dont align the latch properly.

The nuts welded to the frame for the tow hooks/traction bars, were broken loose. I had to cut holes so I could get tot he nuts and tighten them up. BOOOO!!!!

hood was aligned properly. had hood pins as a backup too. the cf ripped/spidered adn let go.

vis wouldn't stand behind their product either

Damn i always hear about horror stories with cf hoods. Back in the day i had a zc cf hood with no issues (unknown brand but was pretty nice), then i had a vis sir cf hood with no issues, and now i have a fiber images cf hood with no issues. Ive never used hood pins on any of the hoods.
