The OFFICIAL DC Squad --Version 3--
zoo, no domo or streched tires here... & not doubting your knowledge, but some of our DC's are daily drivers, not exclusive track cars like yours, & everybody knows $$ is a factor for "legit" track parts.
I hope to be retiring the Teg from dd duties in the future & building it for road course.
In the mean time, just enjoying driving the heck out of it.

So whats wrong with BWR?
I truly don't know much about suspension and subframe bracing, but aren't they just slabs of aluminum that tie together two ends of the chassis/suspension? Why would is matter who made the slab? As long as does the job, doesn't weigh too much and fits properly, what else could you want?

People expect everyone to use "race proven" quality parts even for their grocery getters. There's no right or wrong when it comes to parts, just their uses.
I don't see anything wrong with Blackworks parts for the average daily driver. But why you think you need a subframe brace in the first place is probably a better question..

Ive got a list in my head I'm going through. After reading about subframe tear out I decided to buy a brace before a new sway bar. Now I'm looking at some BWR or FF lcas and some adjustable endlinks then I'll upgrade my sway bar and the rear suspension will be complete.
I'll probably go with a type r sway, or maybe eibach or even asr.
Not trying to tell you you should or shouldn't do something, but why the aftermarket LCAs and big rear sway bar? Genuinely curious. I see so many people spend money on these expensive rear suspension setups for their daily drivers and wonder if they even notice or utilize the difference.
No worries.
I have installed an intake and full exhaust and I can't feel much difference.
The three braces alone I can definitely feel through the turns and actually just last night my best friend told me he could really feel the difference when we had my car full of people.
Through my reading I'm learning that I need to stiffen up the rear to reduce over-steer. So right now I'm working on that for my canyon drives home from work or any turn I take aggressively. I'm having fun working on my car and enjoying seeing where it's going. I don't have money to go all out and I've got plenty of bills to pay, but I can definitly replace things as I learn how to improve them.
In a few years I want my integra to be show room right off the factory floor status. Not some crazy race car; something aggressive and clean with no ounce of dirt or grim anywhere.

i don't have my swaybar on right now because of the exhaust i'm using and i don't notice a difference. problem is i like my comptech brace so i should have a swaybar if i'm going to use it
Really?
That's crazy. I felt the difference in ride quality when the sway bar wasn't even at the correct angle when I didn't have the sway bolted to the brace, just the end links.
What suspension are you on? Maybe with a different suspension I'll feel what my car is doing more?
We also may drive very differently.
I can easily admit not feeling a difference with the intake and full exhaust. But I have felt every upgrade I've made when it comes to my suspension.

Deciding if someone else is buying mods just because is a pretty big assumption to make though so watch out before you make it.
Do what you like, and if that's buying parts others think you don't need than so be it.
We don't need 90% of the sht we have anyways so need and want is subjective.. when it comes to tuning a car, it's all irrelevant.
