Plans for me: Cams and Valves to finish my top end and try to get my motor to the 210 range! Also, try to sell my Sprint Hart R's and try to find some new rims if possible, want something different then my Type C's already!

Plans for me is sell the Integra come Christmas time. I hate owning a car I don't care to mod anymore, it would just be a waste of time and money.

In the mean time Ive just been hoping to stumble upon a wingless trunk, and some Kosei K1's

 

I want some kosei k1 so bad! that or xxr 521.. want to plant them white than splash of teal, kinda like the vid above. which make me want to go lover thanks sam!

Plans are to register for another NASA event and run the day and night event at the end of the month. Just need to build a spare parts list, just in case something goes wrong, like last time when my master clutch cylinder went out on me after 2 laps.

I've got an SCCA event as well, one week before the NASA event. Gonna be a fun month for me.

 

after autocrossing then road racing, i don't ever want to autocross again.

 

Got the promotion today.
Didn't even give interviews for the position. :D
16% pay increase this week and another 10 cent raise come April. Awesome.

I hear that autocross comment a lot. Not done either, could you explain why it seems people love autocross until they find something else..

 

I enjoy both for different reasons. When Instructing at the road course I find autoXers always have the best car control but road course racer dont generally like to AutoX.

I find AutoX keeps my skills sharp for the road course.

 

Auto x for me is how close the tracks are to me. Hershey pa is a long course. Mid Ohio in August

 

Auto x depending where you live is fun and competitive. You can learn alot there

I enjoy both, but prefer road racing a little more. I enjoy the higher speeds from road racing, and enjoy the tight, sharp turns of autox. But love the talk and sportsmanship of those that attend. Everyone I talk to in SCCA and NASA are all really good people.

Autox is a 20 minute drive for me, whereas road racing is a 6 hour drive away.

Zooyost, what group do you run in SCCA? I was in ST, but I think after installing camshafts, I may no longer be in that group.

 

I guess it depends on what track you go to and the performance of your car. Some people at my local SCCA prefer autox because of the tight turns, constantly changing. One guy doesn't like road racing because his car isn't very fast. In autox you don't need a fast car, you need to be a good driver. But then again, you don't need to have a fast car for road racing either. A good driver will make his car fast with technique. But for the road courses with long straights, a driver with a slower car will more than likely prefer autox.
