So I've been replacing stuff in my interior mainly bc I'm picky and decided it was time to actually put something aftermarket on my car. Since winter is here nothing exterior is being down so I picked up a mugen shift **** this morning. Been actually hunting for one and just stumbled across it this morning on nwp. Plan on replacing the shift boot and bezel soon too. Can't wait for spring so I can drop my car.

 

I have one I never used, couldve given it to ya

 

Damn really? Haha. Oh well now lol. Hopefully I like it. I'm having a hard time finding a **** I like. So far my favorite is my oem gsr **** haha. I'll have a skunk2 showing up any time now that I'm going to try out before my mugen but I have a feeling I'm not going to like it. Had a spoon on my gsr but it was too small for my taste.

 

does anyone know if its legal to do a five speed swap on a 97 integra an still pass smog? im only asking becouse u have to change the ecu becouse the auto ecu throws a CEL for no shift solenoids. any info would be great

 

If you get the right ecu and do the swap right I don't see why there is an issue since you will have a stock motor. It's not like you are swapping some big horsepower motor in that is chipped.

 

Wouldn't it cost you less to get a shell that was already a five speed and go from there? It would be less of a mission to do everything

Well I gotta look at it every day lol, not a fan of gold... Not even considering gold wheels either. For that kind of money may as well get exactly what I want. Now I'll have 4 shift ***** lol. 2 gsr's, 1 mugen, and 1 skunk2 lol

 

Also what are peoples thoughts on Cusco Coilovers? There is a set forsale locally, they are ITR but Im changing rear lca's anyways.

 

So for the five speed swap today im picking up full shift linkage, clutch pedal with hardline to transmission, clutch resivore, 5 speed ecu, and starter all for $120

To put itr coilovers on a non itr car all you have to do is change out the rear lca's right?

130 is probably average price for an oem itr spoiler right? Thinking about putting a spoiler on a dc for the first time lol, usually taking them off not putting them on.
