So during the 5 lug conversion, I had to replace the pass side axle. I bought an aftermarket one from Autozone (forget the name brand). Had an alignment completed. I am still having an issue though; there is a slight vibration from the steering wheel when accelerating. Could this be a bad axle?

Also, when I'm at 70+ mph the steering wheel is constantly shaking. My tires are in decent shape. What could this be?

I'm planning to replace the axle since it has a lifetime warranty then taking it back to the alignment shop but just wanted to get your guys' opinion. TIA!

That's what I heard about these aftermarket axles.. hit or miss. I get it replaced and see what happens. I got a quote from my buddy that works at Acura for an oem one and he said $500! WTF! And $200+ for a rebuilt one! WTF!

That lip on the 99-00 civic isn't that bad but don't like it on the dc. After all it is a si/ctr replica, so the lines just flow better with the civic. Of course, to each their own.

I didn't realize Bob was skinny. I guess I associate the name with fat dumbasses, no offense Bob.
