Do you like being in the reserves? I will hit 11 years in October but because of this PTS bullshit happening right now I might not be able to reenlist. What rate were you?

The Reserve components are the best kept secret in the Military.

I was an AM active and am an AM reservist. But since I'm in Las Vegas, there are no Navy squadrons here, so I'm with a cargo unit. I don't like being in a cargo unit. I got a little taste of what we do and its just load and unload ships. The cool part about it was getting trained to use cranes. But I miss fixing aircraft. I'm thinking about getting assigned to a reserve unit in San Diego, that has airplanes. Only bad thing is I'd have to pay out of pocket to travel there.

So, the reserves is cool but it would be better if I were fixing planes.

So, are you an E-5 getting close to higher tenure or is your rate overmanned? Cause I thought higher tenure for E-5 active was 14 years.

I'm an FC1. It's not higher tenure, it's the new perform to serve program. It's fumb but it has nothing to do with rate, it goes by year group and since I joined in 2001 I'm screwed. My year group for first class has had 0 quotas for over year so basically there is nothing I can do. Gonna put in my LDO package and hope for the best. Already looking for a job though. It's cool that your in Vegas, that's where I'm from. You work at Nellis?

Crank the plate open, put that little end piece into the solt on the throttle body, and guide the cable onto the track.

Not my picture, but can give you a little idea.

Good luck with boot camp, it's really easy. Hardest part of boot camp for me was staying awake.

I'm an AM2. I remember I had to do the PTS program around 2000 and was good to go. I got out after 10 years because I wanted to spend more time with my son. So now, I will finish my time in the reserves. 8 more years to go. Yup, I work at Nellis. I paint Air Force jets.

Edit: rears don't rub, had the rears tabs shaved. Front only rub when making a U turn. Had it aligned today to

^^is that madd paint chippage on his rear wheel?

VV And for you my man i would clean up those headlights with headlight restorer before anything else. its the simplest way to make your car look a little cleaner without much effort.
