well i think the story was that he found 98+ tails on a DC at his friends dads junkyard. he offered to trade +20bux but his friends dad said no. his friends dad said $120. no way so his friend said they'd go get them later that night. . .

For those of you that have done swaps, is it easier to drop the motor from the bottom, or pull it out from the top?

Im not pro and it was my first time but i pickd up my car and i dropped the engine from the bottom on a cartish thing my dad got and pulld it out and put it back the same way. BUT AGAIN IM NOOB. GOOD LUCK

since i do most of my swaps alone i like to drop them from the bottom. but than again if you dont have jacks that can lift the car high enought u might want to pull it fron above

 

I've got lots of tools, dad is retired mechanic. I've got a '95 RS and I want to take out the blown b18b1 and just replace it with another one I got.

That's what I was thinking of doing. Use the engine hoist to slowly let the motor onto a dolly or something, then use the hoist again to lift the car up and pull the motor out from under. Hahah, and thanks homie!

i did my first swap pulling from under. that was a Sohc in a dx eg. not much in its way from coming out. but if you got the tools pull it from the top. top or bottom its gunna be fun
