i would get different harness unless you want your spine to compress and break your back in a wreck

 

Different harness? They are Takatas!! A harness bar is what I need, I ordered a Sparco one already but it hasn't come in yet. Plus, the cage still needs to be welded in. Work in progress.

i bought some headers for my teggy and theres no bung plug for the o2 awnaor now i have two o2 sensors one on the cat and one on the stock exhuast do i need both or can i go without the one on the exhuast without throwing codes and all that woderfull stuff help is appreciated

 

Your roll bar already has a harness bar; And if it's an autopower bolt in rollbar, I wouldnt weld it in.

You should be able to wrap the takatas also:

too much naivety in this thread as of late...

you have two sensors for a reason, if you disconnect the primary you're going to get a cel that will kill mpg/performance. just have a bung welded into the headers for your v8 swap

Lil update and advise needed.

So the type r I posted last page the guy said lowest was $6500(maybe i can lower it more hopefully). Doesn't have front bumper, 1 fender and hood plus needs 1/4 replaced or fixed and the core support it bent so that will need to be replaced. I do have a good set of fenders,hood and bumper off my LS i could use. what do you guys think of the deal? I was quoted based off pictures roughly $2800-3000 to fix the car including parts but I have the fender,hood, and bumper

 

This is my opinion, why waste your time paying that much money for an R that at the end of the day is going to be all different peices here and there with fixed quarters, tweeked rad support ect. I would honestly just save up the money and buy something that's original and mint, especially it being something like an R. Not everyone will agree with me, but that's just my .02.

my point of view would be, get a quote on just the support and 1/4 panel. if its not too much i would possibly do it. but not with the intentions of keeping. solely to put the pieces together and sell it as a complete R. i'd never go this route to OWNING a car, and would greatly change my above input above accordingly

 

well all my parts are oem and I wouldn't cheap out on just tweaking the rad support I'd have it replaced and done right but thanks for your input it actually is making me think about if its worth it in the end

Wrd, by all means I'm not telling you what to do, I'm just telling you how I see things on my side of the fence. Like I paid $250 for my Integra, after a swap, two trannys, interior, bodywork, paint, ect everything came to +/- $6,000 and it was just a stock Integra. In the end it would've been cheaper to buy a mint Integra for half of that and start with something clean. I mean I totally enjoyed putting my car together and legit being able to see something I put together myself is awesome! But would I do it again... ehhh depends, lol.

Ya i mean with the money and time your gunna piece that car together you could use the cash and time to find and get a mint r for not too much. Unless you got the car for dirt cheap like a lowball offer and you really just wanna build a car ya know. Maybe im just saying that cuz im over driving around a project car lol
