I had to install a new cat today, royal pita when all the bolts are rusted and seized. I really hope I pass the re-test again Monday or else I'm screwed.

EDIT: ^^^ I just used some aftermarket one that a local parts store had.

 

Im going to be removing my friends b16 trans this monday ... quick dumb question how can i tell if its a hydro or cable trans?

 

its pretty obvious. cable usually has a sticker and hydro normally has a vin plate or holes where it was.

dude i got bad news and good news... bad news is that i did the valve lash adjustment and the i went to replace your cam seal and noticed that you dont have gsr cams in there... good news is that i did some research and your gsr motor has itr cams. congrats.


that was the highlight of my evening last night!!!

I've got a B20 in mine and it pull reaaally nice. Can't wait untill I pick up a GSR or Si tranny.
