speaking of suspension, I'm running the omni power street setup and it rides like ***, i took a lot of the pre load off and softened it up some, any other suggestions? I want to go lower, I'm flush all the way around with my stock mesh wheels on a 195 tire but I'd like for it to ride decent.

i have two ideas one a good impact gun! if you dont have any than two if your car is raised tha put a jack stand under the knuckle(where the rotor and caliper are) than use a breaker bar. that always work like a charm. GL

Removing preload will give you a worse ride.

yeah you should like if you have your car jacked up and your suspension is hanging than your suspension is just going to be moving down while your trying to loosen the bolt but with the jack stand its solid so it gives you better chance. i ran into the same problem a while back

haha i broke a 1/2 craftsman and a breaker bar as well the other week on a axle nut. Went out and got a 24" breaker bar. You gotta make sure its on there straight and jump on that motha with all your weight, even at a pipe for extra length if you want.

Koni/gc, AMR, PIC will all go really low and still give you a nice ride. As long as the rates are not too high and the car isn't 1.5 inches off the ground.

koni/gc have to be my favorite all time suspension

ive ridden in tein street suspension, omni power streets and imo the gc/koni combo was always nice for a street car

best value by far, buy used gc for around 140 and brand new koni for 466 shipped.

Never said that. Those are two of the better ones made in taiwan. Buddy club and tien are decent too. Just don't take down really low or they will ride harsh.

I learned this all from patrickgsr in the suspension thread.... Not from personal preference.

yeah i have though. I'm telling you FROM EXPERIENCE OF OWNING THEM, they do not ride harsh going low. they are quality well built products. I have autocrossed with them and they are just as good as PICs, which I have also driven on and autocrossed with. I think they(PICs) are more harsh than either setup i have had. def more bouncy and not any better at taking turns.
