It took me almost 2 years to crack the lip on my civic.. Pretty tough I would say

 

Mine came pre-cracked for me; can't figure out why since the previous owner was basically at stock height.

I read someone say that he cracked his authentic si-vtec lip in 3 weeks, so I guess it just comes down to ride height and driving style.

 

Yeah my old cf lip took a crap on me this winter, sad thing is a i raised my car up for winter 20 minutes prior So now im in the market for a new one. I have a buddy thats gonna sell me his once his new one comes in but what do you guys think of this site

I got poly and never had an issue at all... just scraped off some of my stickers I had on there

whos had the Skunk 2 Sleeve/aftermarket strut combo,
I will have kyb agx's, ive heard they are relatively stiff/bouncy.

any input appreciated.

iv had skunk2 coilover sleeves on tokicos and they wer pretty good if you go low like dumped the shock still tend to blow out and leak . not as stiff as my skunk2 coilovers.

 

ah not bad to hear, kyb agx's i feel is a high quality strut, plus im not completely slamming at all, im lowering prob another 3/4 an inch from what i am now

 

i think you'll be happy with it. i know a few people that have had similar set ups like mines WITH LEGIT parts that are happy with a shock and spring combo

 

yea i just cant wait to be lower ha, i dont like how it sits at all right now.

 

at least ur lowered right now im on stock suspension since i sold my skunk2 coilovers. hopefully within a month or two i should be picking up coilovers or shocks and springs again

 

yeaa true, it held me over, well ill have a fresh set of tein s techs for sale once i get back home and get the new parts

i have kyb agx's and eibach sportline's. they are not bouncy at all and on the stiffest setting they handle like a dream. i luv em.
