pr3 or p30 pistons in an LS with a pr3 head, wont give 12:1 compression.

you'll be around 11.3-11.5 at best

i disagree. a boost d series is fun and can put down some good numbers. same goes for an LS. with 3k he could have boosted his LS and easily made over 200whp compared to the 180 he's pushing with his ls-v.

But in the long run the lsv will make more power and be much more reliable

not a big deal to me. i didnt spend 3000 on parts, i spent like 1900 on parts and rest was like labor and machine work. turbo is to much work, always problems, most my friends are boosted and they always have **** breaking and they were well built motors, and lsv is fine for me. no point to me in spending huge dollars to boost when you can barely use it.

my ls w pr3 pistons, not sure if the head was milled, etc. ( sure it was, though ) is a 10.8:1 compression.
