Good news and bad news....

Good news:

Got my jdm header cleaned up the best i could, wrapped it and got it on the car, even tho i had to modify my new skunk 2 test pipe. Also pulled my valve cover and cleaned/stripped it for wrinkle red paint. Prolly gonna sand the letters t/m since it got late and started to rain.

Bad news:

Car sounds a little better but still sounds like a subaro while driving but not as bad as it did with the old header. Whats weird is that it sounds fine in nuetral or idle, revs up nice and clear but whenever it has a load on it, sounds like something isnt hitting right. im PRAYING this its sumthin dumb like a spark plug or wire even tho the plugs are on a few weeks old. :/

F' that man... they are only 14's and those are not ls mesh's ls meshes are 15's those are the crappy webs that are 14's... plus no tires... those are too much at 100 if they were 15 ls meshes I would say go for it. Ur hids and steelies are worth more then those.. unless u don't have tires on ur steelies

 

yea im gonna strip them and either polish them or strip them and repaint them white or another color i dont know what would look clean though

oh and what tire size should i run?

 

well my steelies are bald as fock and i think those would look better than steelies and my hids are garbage there 15k and i cant see shat with them and there egays so i dunno i need rims and tires

anyone have any idea why my car could sound the way it does? i thought it was the cheapy header i had on for a few days that was dented pretty bad and leaking. Still sounds the same just no leaks. Idles and runs fine.... ill check my plugs and do a compression test t/m. *crossing my fingers*

 

hey dont knock ebay hids . i had them on my car for about 8 years and they still going strong

 

i mean they are alright but i hate the color tempature its like purpleish and i cant see on most roads unless theres street lights, but damn 8years? most people i know theres ballasts blow in like a year

 

U guys ever notice how After u buy ur car alot of better deals come out? I just found a clean 98 with full exterior itr converstion with only 110k miles for 4.5k, so would trade for mine =[
