Yeah to be legal. I wouldn't worry about it. Cops are looking for loud exhaust and such.

I keep getting modified exhaust tickets but they never say anything about the third brake light or ride height.

 

i've only gotten a ticket for speeding.

supposedly they made a law here that we cannot have any aftermarket lights installed(ex: fogs) unless they were on the vehicle when it left the assembly line.

i just went bceause i was driving my friends car and the liscense plate wasn't on the bumper..
so i got it..
then we brought the car today.. made us pop the hood and write us up on all that **** that needs to be taken care of..
exhaust, intake.. headers.. **** man hate the chp

brake line tuck while keeping ac- possible or "good luck with that"

question for anyone that has a teg that underwent a brake line tuck from bay to under dash. finally pulled my dash out today- tan stuff...gross. and one thing on my list for this build was a brake line tuck locating the new prop valve under the dash, and thing is im really trying to keep the ac on this thing. I didn't think there would be so much crap behind the dash- theres no way in hell ill be able to re locate the brake lines while keeping ac correct? blah...i might just have to lower the location of the prop valve and keep everything in the bay. crap.

i was 3 blocks from my house and got pulled over and made me pop my hood.

Your fogs are oem. So you shouldn't get in trouble... just tell them that they are optional fogs.

I guess this is the only good part about living in the middle of no where.... I have no 3rd break light and have been followed by a few cops but no tickets... now MO cops get everyone for no front plate.. hense me making use of lip ties lol

its texas, theyll find anything to give tickets for. couple of the s2k's at our last meet got tickets for the fogs. they blocked us in and only let us out thru designated exits where they were checking license and insurance and inspecting your car. i turned off my fogs as soon as i got in line :D so no ticket, haha.
