On my 15x6.5 rims, should I keep running my 215/50 or should I go to a 205 or 195? Car is going to be put away for winter, and my tires were shoot. So Im going to be getting new control arms, tie rods, and maybe new coilovers(doubt it tho).
Currently on stock parts other than coilovers, and I used to rub real bad on my fenders til I rolled them. New fenders are incoming but I plan on rolling them as well. Any suggestions or insight would be lovely guys.

lol, 205s? My last two set of tires were 215s and you saw what happen to both on fb. Like I said Im going to get camber kits and toe kits, and then get my alignment done with new tires on. As for tires I was thinking S Drives this time.
you dont need the camber kit. you need an alignment..BAD. 215 is an odd size and really you dont need that much tire. especially on a cheaper tire your steering has got to feel sloppy. s drives are a good tire in my opinion also considering that line comes on some cars from the factory. but at work we have alot of yokos come in with cupping issues.
Id just like to get the camber kits to replace old and rusted oem parts basically. Its cheaper to get an aftermarket camber kit then to replace with autozone parts by a couple hundred. So, I figured it would be nice. Just wanting to get my old parts replaced ya know?
And I do need an alignment bad

Camber wear is a myth almost. Camber doesn't wear your tires very
much, it's toe that kills. Your alignment is way off David. 215s are also unnecessary. I run 195/50/15 S.drives and they're awesome. 205 is the highest you should go, you will rub if you are too low. I say don't roll the fenders.

and claudio you left out part of the equation. rim width has alot to do with tire size which i stated in a roundabout way earlier. i would not say 215s are unnecessary in a broad statement. i myself run 225s in the front but i am also on a 7.5in wheel. on a 6.5 a 215 width tire is "too much" for a street driven car and as i said before with a "cheap" tire you will get alot of slip angle with that weak sidewall which will make the steering feel like pooh. claudio you are on a 6 in wheel with a 195/50 which fits that wheel well. i summer time daily.d on si wheels with 205/50 615 azenis and they rode very well. i had no rubbing issues without rolled fenders. but to that statement of what is unnecessary and what is not..yes for a street driven car you dont need much more than 205s but not to say competitive stock class cars havent got away with 275s on a 6in rim. it will work but not in a practical sense.
if the wheel/tire fits and rides without rubbing then i dont see a reason to roll the fenders. if there is rubbing over bumps etc then i dont see a reason not to roll them. just if you havent done them before have someone roll them for you. also make sure you clean out the inside of the fender or 1/4 panel. the smallest of rocks can leave you with nipples sticking out of your body lines.
word. my plans changed to night so ill try to get pics because i have alot of stuff to sell and that will probably be one of the things i do sell.
