Offical eH squad list.
i thought it would be alot worse than what it is. from 2500 to 3000rpm it has this loud baffling then it goes away. ive drove it round trip 7-8hrs in the past month and havent had any complaints.
on track it is loud but with a helmet on it isnt that bad. i know at full song it screams. even without vtec this weekend my buddy said this family was plugging their ears as i went by. lol.
the timing of this question is almost perfect. here is a vid from last weekend. im not full song. not even probably 3k. i just had someone spin 10 feet infront of me so i was chilling expecting the track to go full black flag. but you will get the idea.

I look forward to when I can take my car on the track. Ive only done 1 auto-x event and I'm hooked. I like it a lot more than pushing it on the back roads (plus its 1000x than drag racing). **** showed me a lot of changes I need to make to my car in just one event, and I thought I could just show up and bully the competition. lol.
bingo. last year my first event(track) i got signed off. my instructor goes.."ok now you will notice the way the car changes with weight transfer etc.." im thinking to myself..yeah right i have pushed in the twisties with or without passengers and never noticed a difference.
uhh yeah first out lap. pit out was end of 2. go into 3 slow just to make sure the brakes are there. lay into it going to 5. 5 and 6 is basically a double apex left. i come out of six sideways.
unless you have done it you dont get it. everyone is like i push my car on the back roads. i push my bike hard on the back roads. i tell them all "you havent pushed **** until you get on track." and as bad as it sounds you arent hitting the tip of the iceberg yet in autox. a long course you might find 50mph..on track you are seeing 85+mph at every track. t1 at putnam scared the dogshit out of me this year. going into it at 110+ wild. next year hopefully ill have more motor and i should be going in ~115-120mph but ill have better brakes too. lol.
and to be honest after last years wmhm i hardly even speed. hell sometimes i drive below the speed limit on the interstates. just not as fun anymore. lol. risk doesnt warrant a reward.
Unless some old geezer with a corvette or mustang is setting up the solo course like my last two events. I was in the mid 60's on some parts at both in my car.
Brad speaks the truth though. I remember my first track day. It was amazing at how much you don't know your car until you've had it out at it's limits on the track. The drive home felt like I was going 20mph.
