Same here and I'm actually sorta in the process of working out a deal on yet another EG(my 4th). I haven't even followed up with the Squad in such a long time let alone we haven't had a BBQ meet in a f*cking long *** time...

 

Only THREE more weeks until the 2010 solo season starts!

Im looking forward to this years auto-x season. Hopefully I can participate but Im growing more concerned with getting my car ready for IA.

I wish I knew where there was autocross around my area. I would need to prep it up more but it would still be fun!

mg look at all those cones you knocked over..seconds wasted. lol. jp. your car is sooooo f.n clean. i would be afraid to hit a cone. i hit one last year that left a streak on my car for almost 3 car washes/weeks.

 

Thanks. Yeah...them cones laying down are pointer cones...they don't count as 2 second penalties. I've hit, smashed, dragged, etc. my fair share of cones over the past four years and never had a problem with marks or blemishes.

If you're not hitting cones, you aren't close enough and you're gonna be slower than the fast drivers.

 

yeah that was the joke because a few people who havent autox.d probably dont know what pointer cones are..anyway joke failed. lol. how is your sm class in your region?

 

Our region's SM class is a blast. There's no real dominant leader...we all just have fun and smack talk all season long.

 

yeah ill be in sm this year. up from st. st is serious but sm is faaast. sm and stu have some real good guys in the classes. stu is fun to watch around here. couple buddies in go for broke m3s as in im either dnfing or setting fastest run pax time.

 

I'd love to Autocross but I want to build a car specifically for it. I'd be to worried about crashing the current hatch to really drive it. When I go on boost it's a different story cause going in a straight line is alot easier to do. Still kinda hard though.
