Finally was able to wash my hatch last night for the first time since before the first snow of the year back in November.

lol. I need to wash mine. To be honest I really need an oil change. Running an open velocity stack with a screen is fun performance wise but it puts a hurtin on my maintenance.

The more and more I think about it, the more I nervous I become. I dont mind going against better built cars, I just want to get as much seat time as possible before the season begins. I still have to throw on some swaybars and a better suspension. And my growing faith in my LSD has helped me attacked turns with more ambition. I figure my competition will be a lot of vettes, miatas and some other hondas. Either way I look forward to shitting my pants and praying I dont blow my motor. lol.

Wish I had my old ITR tranny. The LSD was definitely beneficial on my last B20.
As for the competition. Vettes and Miatas are in SSM because they are two seater cars...so you won't have to worry about them in SM. What you will have to worry about is the BMW, EVO and STI cars, They generally run super wide tires, are boosted, have tons of hp and the 4wd is helpful to them too. But don't underestimate your little hatch...Mine is very nimble on the smaller courses and is hard to beat in a bigger, more powerful car. However...at larger wide open parking lot/event locations...these big power cars do have quite an advantage but most of the time...it's all relevant to driver experience and their ability to control their car.

Hey Everyone, Lots of familiar names in this thread. I received a PM from American. Grattiti a few days ago and he asked me about joining the Eh Squad. I was very excited to say the least that I could be a part of something that spreads the love for hondas and even more specifically, the EH Chasis, the reason there is such a thread/squad like this. I guess you could call this my "Introduction" LOL.
My Name is Kegan Giugliano, I'm 20 Years old and I currently reside in Columbia, South Carolina. I am currently attending a local technical college, Midlands Technical College. I am in the Associative Arts program and its a 2 year degree... I'm a little behind schedule (a couple of bad teachers LOL) but I should be finished very soon. When I'm not attending school I'm working for a paint company called 1 Source Services.
My first car was a 1995 Acura Integra GSR. My father bought this car for me in early 2005. I drove it for a little over 2 years and I traded for a 99CX Hatch. The deal was that I would take the motor out of my integra and swap it into my Hatch but a few things happened and the fellah that I traded with decided to trade the integra for an EH Hatch. Since he left my motor in the integra that was traded away, I was offered his built GSR swap for 500 Bucks. I bought the motor and started ordering the parts necessary to put it in my Ej. Well after I had ordered all the parts, me and a friend pulled my Ej into my garage one night and started the process. We pulled the Single Cam out, put the GSR in, and cranked it up... We were up kinda late so we didnt take it for a test drive (Open Header in a neighborhood doesnt mix LOL)... The next day we cranked the car up... All was well for about 30 Seconds (Code Free) then a code would pop up (Code 1 and 3 - Map Sensor) and the car would have a surging idle and would barley run. I tried multiple throttle bodies... all of which were off of running cars and i still had the same problem... after almost a month of troubleshooting (on the days I had time)... I could not figure it out...
Well I was, and still am friends with the previous owner, we would talk pretty regularly and he knew what was going on with my car... he had mensioned trading him for his EH... I gave it a little thought and later on that day I had made my decision... I wanted an EH... I could never come to like the interior styling of the ej... and I had always loved the way EH's looked... So we traded for a second time (The first being my integra for his EJ)....
Now to Some Pics...
I put my wheels and Suspension (Ebay Coilovers and Tokico Illumina 5 way Adjustables) on the Car...


My Next Mod were the Function and Form Version 1 Type 2 18 Way Adjustables...

I then found a set of Mugen RnR's that were posted on a Local forum that I get on...



Then one day and I noticed a VERY VERY VERY Slight bend in the lip of one of the RNR's (3 months after I bought them)...
So I bought BRAND NEW RPF1's...







Then about 3 months later I had my eye on a Set of Volks.... I talked to a Local Dealer and I ended up buying a Set of Diamond Black +43 Volk RE30's








A few months Later I found a good deal on 5 Lug Suspension with the Gunmetal ITR Wheels and tires... So I sold the Enkeis and Volks and purchased the 5 Lug...



I then sourced out a set of RECARO SRD's...


My Friend found a set of my dream wheels...
15 Inch +43 Matte Black Volk CE28N's (Current Look)
(On the Way home with them)

I forgot to add that I ran a compression test on my car and got 209/212/208/210. Motor was kinda warm so I was expecting lower numbers. I will probably run it again cold with a lil oil to test how well the rings are holding up.

American.Graffiti, thank you for your invitation to the EH Squad. I'm surprised since my car doesn't have more than a few OEM modifications (except my springs/shocks) and isn't anything to behold when compared to most of the hatches in this squad.
The direction I'm going with my hatch is extremely subtle and OEM, without the OEM wheelgap. I have a strong appreciation for Honda Parts, so don't expect any carbon fiber or custom header and exhaust (which I've already had before and still preferred OEM). In a nutshell, I don't care about weight reduction because I don't race regularly, and I like acquiring OEM options, which are expensive since most of them were only available in Japan. Although, I'm not completely a Honda purist because I don't rock stock shocks and springs, but instead H&R Race springs and Koni Sports (yellow).

There are a lot of people who have nice cars but the community can only be benefited by those who are enthusiastic about it (whether they have a hatch or not). I dont mean to sound like Im dissing people but a lot of people exploit the scene (whatever their reason being). I figured the only want to separate the real from the fake is to show people how to do it and learn from those who do it right. As they say, you are the company you keep. Plus its great to be around people who inspire you, make you step your game up and in turn you inspire them. Squad^
