hard parking lol. dude my next hatch will be a car for me to just go out and enjoy for myself. good luck with your goals but i've watched a lot friends compete and it was never enough for them, i tried and realize there will always be someone faster that will come along and bam i'm back to the start. im going to drive mine when i want and not worry about a thing.

yeah i hear ya. But i want to be competitive here were i live. This past IFO fastest allmotor car was 12.2 and everyone else was like 12.9- 13.5 so i can be competitive here. Im tired of driving my hatch around, its not comfy at all. I really cant do anything else to make it a different car either,. so i figured if i turned it into a complete track car i should be happy. And im not the guy who looses sleep if i lose. I actually go and check what that dude has done to his car. I would love to do time attacks/road race but alabama doesnt support that scene :/

 

I'm a firm believer in a car is built to be driven on the streets. I can't own a car if I cant drive it on the streets to a grocery store or gas station for a drink. But I feel you. Maybe you should look into joining the SCCA.

 

man i know your feelings about the daily driving it and one my cars together the way i want it to be its done. i just know that i ****ed up with the last hatch and i want to do this one right. i feel ya man i do, i hope your car being a full race car makes you happy and you have all of our support, but for me where i'm at if i was going to drag race i would just get a 5.0 and throw some gears, random bolt on's, and one really big *** shot of laughing gas on it. but i love the eg to much to do all that so i'l build a car i can take for a spin to the mountains when i want and have the power i want out of it.

i would never park my hatch at the movies or the mall. i take my truck if its gonna be somewhere that i can't see my car for 5 minutes or longer.

 

yeah thats why i'll be happy not to have a daily project any more. i want to drive it when i want to thats it. pancake just sleep on it and figure out what will be best for you. i use to be so worried about my hatch when i had it. its not even funny.

Same here but I'm fortunate to live in a place where I have left my car outside with only a clutch lock and my car was still there when I came back. This was years ago though. I have way more security now. That doesn't mean I will be going to the movies any time soon.

i know what he was thinking get a yard and win the game. it was a good call, i mean they've done it before and it work. they got shorted by the refs too.

 

People were like hes madd dumb their like " he shoulda kicked it, your in your own side of the field hes mad dumb". People dont think no matter how far peyton was he was still gonna score in those 2 min left. The 2 previous drives peyton took his team down the field like in 2 min on a 70 or 80 yrd drives, so why wouldnt he this time? In a situation like that i dont think any defense in the nfl could stop manning. After thinking about it all this time i kinda agree with the call but at the time during the game i was like bill wtff you doing! lol

 

It just goes to show how much confidence the coach has on his offense. **** they had the right play receiver just bobbled it. people are making it sound like they never had a chance to get the first down.

might be getting a b20 block 2 day or tomorrow see what happens i'm gonna be putting it together my first actual motor build. i already have cp 11.5.1 pistons eagle rods and gsr crank and rc 440 injectors i got for practically nothing thanks to cranberry. also have a skunk2 competition port polished head and full skunk2 valve train thats been sitting in my storage 4 awhile. also have a jg ported and polished head in my storage as well but needs new valvetrain. i wanna save my skunk2 head for my 86x95mm build trying to sell one of my bikes so i can start putting these motors together. also need to finish my turbo setup for my hatch. lots of things i need to get done but me not having a job gives me lots of time to start putting this **** together.. I'm excited on my first build

 

but he is known for being pretty ***** to the wall.

 

picked up the b20 block so the build is about to begin. Need to buy bearings now.
