Damn man i wish i would know. My g.f had a really bad night last night she lost her cell phone at a Stevie B concert then when we went to go pick up her Integra from her aunts house we noticed someone crashed and pushed in her driver side quarter panel. I already bought her a new cell phone but now we gotta get her car fixed and who knows how much thats gonna cost us.

yeah its on right now. The fitment isnt the best but it looks good though. i used some regular 10mm bolts i had laying around and they were perfect for it. Thanks again.

We went to a few body shops today and the lowest price we got quoted was to have the body work done at one place and have macco paint it. it would come out to 1200. Tuesday were gonna go to these Guatemalan dudes that painted my old hatch and see how much they charge us. Ill take a pic of the hit so you guys can see how bad it is.

I keep finding sleeved gsr blocks. I want to build one but thats a lot of money to put into something that might fail on my after a while. That and I would have to build it myself. I need at least 45k miles out of it.

Why so? I figured with the right amount of attention to detail and a non abusive life a honda motor should be able to last quite a while. Im probably gonna talk to a few ppl who have some before I make a decision.

the largest concern is with whoever is building the bottom end. meticulous attention to detail and checking the tolerances constantly pay off big in the lifetime of a built motor.

actually, it's just because the owner of the car in question is one of my good friends. not that the motor won't last, but it is one of those risks you take with a built motor. that same motor had the head rebuilt 2 or 3 times in 20k when it was still a 'stock' gsr lol.
not arguing that, but to say one will last just as long as another is bs when it comes to aftermarket parts. chances are it will last, but asking 45k out of a built motor can be questionable.

technically that motor still shouldn't have had any head problems, especially not as many.. he drove it around at high rpm alot, but there was little harsh acceleration and it was fairly consistent revs(aside from when it got raced). although, I never heard what the problem(s) was that required the head to get rebuilt so much.
btw, call in sick and come up this weekend! lol

Well if I do this I plan on having it as 84mm*89mm, cylinders honed with a line hone to make sure everything is within spec, head with a 3 angle job, 68mm TB, 550cc inj, 2.5" exh sys, Im thinking about running with some RS Machine pistons, im unsure about the rods and cams. I dunno, odds in favor I will not do this. Most of the things I do with my car arent planned and come off the cuff. No boost though although I fight the urges daily.

boost is cool, but adds alot of clutter to an engine bay. that and for DD purposes n/a is more practical and less hassle. don't ask why I have a wrx though.. lol
