Whats up squad? I just got made a taxi for the day and had to pick up one of my dad's mates from the airport and drop him off home!!! Roughly a 150 mile roundtrip Bye Bye petrol

The screw on the throttle body? Did that already, still really low. I was thinking of changing the fuel filter. My car acts like it can't wait to turn off.

my baby sits in the garage most of the time cuz i dont drive it to work. no a/c and traffic in socal aren't a great combo.

my car used to do that too, like when i came to a complete stop, it would idle REALLY low, and it sounded like it would want to turn off, but then i put gas in it.

maybe it doesn't like the new rotors.

 

that happens to me a lot actually. the spring in my dizzy is missing. im pretty sure thats my problem with the car.

 

sorry this is totally random but i was looking at some other cars and something i'm not too fond of is tinted windows on a hatch...just not my style..

 

lol......this **** jumped alot since i've been alseep....****.....its good to see everyone posting at once. glore dont worry about it.....there will be times some dont know people got in and times everyone will know. you guys are here for manily the suport issue's to help keep this page in line and then help me bring people in. so im not the only one gettin 25 pms at once.

i agree. another thing that bugs me is the stupid tint on top of the front windshield! i bought the car with that and i noticed i had it 3 days ago! ill just change it later.

nice. when i had an idle problem, adjusting fixed it. but mine was a little different. whenever i came to a stop or revved the motor and let it drop down, it would fall to almost 0 rpms...sometimes it even stalled out. adjusted idle and now it's fine.

I don't know, while I could care less about the tint, it's good to get into the car and have it cooler than what it would be. That always makes me feel better

What did you do to adjust it?

ill have it on my lexus is300 when i get it but not the hatch.....

what i did is let the car get to op temp....then i played it it till i heard the idle go up and then it was good.

let car warm up to operating temp. unplugged the iacv, adjusted the idle screw on the TB so it idled fine and wouldn't die out when revving, turned off car, plugged back in iacv, reset ecu.

 

keep the ac or leave it when i swap the motor? the weight isnt much of a problem, but it looks clean without it. any opinions?

yeah, it surprisingly makes a significant difference. haven't seen many hatches with tint, but i'm tempted to do it since i have no a/c.

 

nm its coming off. i forgot the coupe i just bought as my beater has AC WOOT WOOT!
