imo yes. because you dont have to buy a bolt extractor, and sometimes those things dont work depending on how tight the bolt is already. Basiclly you get a bit that is as big as the bolt, but just a little smaller... then drill thru. your going to have to drill thru the treaded part of the bolt then knock the rest of the bolt out with a hammer and punch because the bolt is so long unless you get a drill bit that is that long enough to drill thru the whole thing. drilling out the bolt is a better way imo, but some folks prefer the bolt extractor.
