Offical eH squad list.
What is this "EK Coupe" you speak of? That term drive's me nutz!
PS: Spent the majority of yesterday at the Iowa Speedway with my oldest son Nehemiah. He had a hoot of a time pallin' around with dad at the solo event. I even got to drive him up and around part of the oval. So much banking on that track...it's insane. What a great paddock helper. Who needs power tools to change tires when you've got a six year old loosening/tightening the lug nuts for you...hahahaa.

Leading the youngins in the steps of the father
Everyone in here that has kids all do the same, pretty awesome to grow up with an interest from an early age. I never had that, parents were always too busy with work and never had hobbies. Thats the beauty of the life circle though, you can always change things from your childhood to how you think it should be when you have some of your own.
Brap, I still have to watch those vids! Forgive me your majesty.

Right? Lol. Same for "EG coupe". Or you know, just an EJ1...

Gabe I still prefer to use my 18v impact. extended lugs are a huge pain in the ***.......ps I'll be sending them peso's your way soon.
Haha..yeah...when we're at home...he likes to use my air impact...but I don't have a cordless so it's old school at the solo events. Sounds good. Let me know when you've sent it.

Habor Freight had a deal I couldn't pass. Plus my son is still to young to really take them off and put them on. How did the event fair out? My last one I fudged up pretty good.
Event was good. I placed first in SM, probably up in the top 5-6 for overall raw times. Felt great to be back out there tearin' it up in the snowball. This was also the first time I played with a staggered tire setup since 2008. 225/50/15 TOYO RA1's up front and 205/50/15 TOYO R888's in the rear. These tires are old as dirt as well...hahaha. Oddly enough...the hatch felt a bit less tail happy than my old coupe did with a similar setup. I loved that added bit of rotation I got yesterday.

I have seen guys running 275 front's and 205 rears to get that rotation. good job on first. Spray them with wd-40 its a cheap trick if you don't have money for fresh tires. I learned that from a friend and an old school guy that was out there. It works the rs3's are soft again and just make sure you drive them to give them a genital heat cycle. these rs3's i have are from 2010 and have been through a lot of heat cycles.
Well, it "dumbs" it down for everyone. Everyone gets "EG Hatch", but not all would get EH2/3.
Yeah, I know the case, for us and probably others, we don't push cars on her. It is just being around them that gets her into it.

If I take my boys to the skate park...I don't make them skate if they don't want to. Usually they just run around and stuff. Hardest part is making sure they stay out of the way of other skateboarders. I've been pushing skate park etiquette on them since they were infants...too many retarded kids that get dropped off at skate parks these days...have no idea how much danger they're in if they're in the way.

This one night, there was a mom who brought probably 5 kids on skateboards. The indoor park wasn't very skateboard friendly, for one, and two, it was winter, so no going outside.

It was all box jumps, hips, a spine, "bigger" quarters, 6 foot mini with a coping to coping spine, and a 13ish foot vert ramp or half pipe to most. These kids barely could ollie and we let them know, just pay attention and you will be fine.
Well, one time, that didn't work out. I dropped in on the side of the quarter to hit this hip. One kid comes out in front of me, he jumps off, I have zero time to react. There wasn't much room between the quarter and the hip, maybe 7 feet. Brakes are locked up as I am rolling in, it does no good. I hit the board and go face first into the lip of the hip. It busts almost every knuckle open to give you an idea. The quarter was 7 foot, so there was a decent amount of speed just from gravity pushing. haha.
Anyways, I was super pissed, I threw the board, from a sitting position, all the way to the vert wall, which was probably a good 50+ foot away. The kid goes running up stairs, they call me up there. Momma Knopp told me that I had to leave because the mom was pretty pissed. I explained that there is a way that "traffic" runs at a skatepark and that we had already told them to pay attention, etc. Momma Knopp told her that I was a regular and knew what I was doing. The lady started to change her pace, then once she saw my hands, she then told her son to pay attention. haha.
Gabe, as you know, I could go on with stories all day long.
Exactly...now that I'm a dad...I have a different perspective on how to react to the occasional kid in the way. When I was younger...before I had kids...I would flip out and get pretty mean. Now I just take them to the side and say hay kiddo...there are certain things you have to be aware of here...and one of them is being attentive...you can't just go whichever way you please. If I run into you...it's probably gonna hurt you more than me...so be careful...use your eyeballz.
Hey, ye' ol' Claudio. I know that you like your video games. In GT5, I have a Miata, basic bolt ons on Hard Race tires. I started playing the game, again, the other day. That car on Deep Forrest, I think, is loads of fun. A couple spots where you just lift and get back to the floor, pretty awesome.

I have used the miata though, the car I enjoyed the most is probably the NSX F on Deep Forest I think too. That game without the steering wheel is useless lol.
Yeah, I got lucky, a few years ago, a buddy moved and gave me his Logitech setup. Old one, but it gets the job done. I would play Madden if I didn't have the steering wheel or probably not play it at all.
I did wreck the Miata last night, dropped two wheels, it kicked, I yelled "YOLO!" and stayed wide open, kept rotating, and I smoked the wall head on. It rolled a couple times, I lost first place, but I end up finishing third. If that game tells me one thing, it is that Mazdas are reliable. hahaha. #GotYa

Well, speaking of Miatas. I got my first nibble on the hatch. This car was at WMHM, super, rad looking. I would need cash on my end, but I'm on the edge about it.

This Miata is XP.
Claudio was driving for me.
It was a rad car...sounded cool too. I highly doubt he was able to give it more than half throttle though...the power to weight ratio is probably insane.
