Haha I love my tc05's some may say I overpayed, but I've wanted them for almost a year and i was going to settle for some 16x7's but then I saw this staggered set and knew I had to find a way to get them.
If you got what you wanted, who's to say you've overpaid? Some people want things more than others and will pay to get it. I seen a bronze set of 16" SA-90s on a red hatch and fell in love with those thangs. When I have the money to buy, I can't find anything for sale. But when I spend money on other shiz, they pop up. There's a couple sets of 15" TC05's on icb's site right now for a decent price. What other sites are there to find some nice wheels?
I spoke with Crxfornow who also has a set of TC05's he said the went personally and checked out both sets that ICB has and the ones with the +30 offset are in great condition. I know my set came from a fellow H-T member that goes by the username of REZNUNT. He sold them to the some guy in Iowa which never used them, and then I purchased them off of the guy in Iowa.
Here goes that guy reznunts website, I think he said he is going to get some more TC05's soon.

i've got so much **** i need to buy its not even funny.
Everyones got so much going on I can barely keep up lol. JeffBerry is talking about turbine selection and paint and trannys. David is midway a paintjob and is getting a daily, I dont even know lol. Fill me in fellas.
As for me, just waiting for my EG hub to come in. Tracking number says it was delivered and I know it wasnt ( I was home all day waiting for it) and so now it must of been delivered to the wrong house and so Im out of a hub :/ Fedex is closed for the weekend and I hope they can get it back...
Still waiting on the N1 but no rush for that, just can't wait to get it. Need to go to Majestic Honda and pick up a new lip and a gasket+bolts.
Just washed my car today, raised my height a little bit and threw on the drivers side mudguard and it doesnt scrape anymore so Im happy with that. It was really annoying lol.
Last night Jesse and I got hyphy at this party and **** was wild, good times.

I need to touch up and clear coat on my paint, theres one spot that the body work needs a tad bit touch up as well.
As for a daily. Id like to get one asap so I can start tearing apart the hatch. Kate wants me to get into a new car so I dont have to be on downtime with vehicles whenever I need to work on my hatch. I still need to drop a motor into the sedan so I can sell it. I was going to keep it but there is a small hole in the driver side floor and Im just going to fix it and sell it rather than keep it. Hopefully of course.

as for me i will be getting a daily to take my sedan to a whole other level.
I mean honestly its sad but I don't see a swap happening in a very long time. Def not this year, doubt next year. Maybe the one after if that.
The thing is that I don't mind my motor. I want to get a B18C5 and I don't want a beat swap or it sitting in a beat car.
My motor is ok, gets me 40mpg and is pretty reliable. Has a few vac leaks but that doesn't matter much and thats about it other than a header leak from scraping driveway which I will address when I install the N1. The head leaks oil but the fix isn't too far away, I need to swap 2 cam holders which I have already and that leak will stop. Then I will be getting a CF whale ***** intake custom made by a friend and it will be straight. Its not too slow but def no DOHC either.
My bushings are in much more need of attention than the engine so I will redo my suspension while I'm replacing them (powdercoat the suspension, POR the wheel wells, fresh hardware, Buddy club roll adjusters (extended ball joints), camber kit, rear endlinks, get a sway bar, subframe brace, new rear lcas, new axles, new hub bearings, stainless steel brake lines and that should just about do it.
A motor swap will set me back a good 2,5K at least and I just need to have better security and be able to pay for insurance before that. I mean its just too much money while going to school. I will try and work as much as possible because I don't have time to waste and just need to be making steady progress.
If I can spend $500 on a daily and pull the hatch off the road I can fix a lot of things on it and not worry about driving on the winter and worrying about taking it certain places.
I have summer tires so if I even want to drive in the winter I will have to get snow tires and Im not driving on summers again, last winter was insane with these tires. I might as well spend that money on a daily.
What bothers me sometimes is that I have to drive my car and the car is sorta falling apart from just being used and I can't take care of everything since I need to drive it the day after so problems start piling up and just no time to fix it in a single day you know?
So if its on jackstands in the garage I can put 20 mins of work and then put another 20mins the day after or whenever I have time. Instead of having to do say 6hrs of work after school is over and rushing to get it done.

i'm not telling you to get a junk swap, i paid more for my ls then cl has them for just that reason. get a daily then save money for a swap.
As for the hatch, waiting to finish the paint like I said, and then motor work for me. Using the winter months to save up for suspension so I can be cool like Gabe and Brad.

My reasons exactly. I found a four door gsr that is minty, within miles of my place that is in my price range. I will be going to look at it this week hopefully, if the owner gets back to me. Ill keep you guys informed.

cluad why would you get a b16 if you want a itr motor? big difference on how the car will feel. and not to bag on you but the z6 was never fast feeling. but just take care of the car and to take care of issues set time aside to fix them. i daily mine so i understand what you mean, but i drive 200+ miles a day.
Yeah exactly, so for me its either B18C5 or D16Z6 lol. Not that a B16A is a bad motor, it actually felt really good when I drove Jesses car once. 10x better lol.
Don't want to have to swap twice and plus its money lost in shipping, tune up and resale.
I don't see myself having 5k for an engine anytime soon lol. I am perfectly content with having a D16Z6 just as long as it runs okay and the other areas are improved.
I'm not a fan of having a sick engine but the rest of the car is weak so the rest of the car has to be up to par before an engine like that goes in.
