yeah i dont want to be laggin that bad. hahahaa, i want a decent size turbo that if i do want to up the boost will be about to handle the power i want. was first thinking the 5756, but then homie brought the 6262 to my eyes. i want a decent car this time.

 

i just built a manifold for a customer that went with the 5857 on a d15 and he made 495whp and that car is super healthy! a 6262 on a b series is just right and there is no way you'll be disspointed! and i hate my turbo lag, i think of it this way "turbo lag is a nice way of giving V8s a headstart!" lol

yeah see here in cali we have shitty gas. im building a motor to handle the boost, but im going to be running pump gas so 14lbs is the most i'll run.

same here in west tx we only have 91 at the pumps, there are a few that have 93, but for me its too far and out of the way to fill up everytime. those numbers were made with race gas of coarse, but on but he made 325which is pretty decent if you ask me... i think 14lbs should be fun to drive though. when i drive my hatch at 11lbs it makes 400 and that is more than enough if you ask me, personally i feel 350 is a fun street car.

the girls went with her family this weekend so i got to "play" around some. friday night i went downtown to meet up with some out of towners. we ate at weber grill and they have what i would consider an odd menu. i always wanted to try the place so hey what the heck. i am sketched out on basically the whole menu. you can ask avijit, i am very picky when it comes to food. they bring out pretzel bread, i think "yeah this will be garbage." YEAH RIGHT, where is the nacho cheese, this stuff is money. i figure screw it, might as well try something that is odd ball. i don't eat meatloaf too often because well, normally it is bad. i decide to go with the black angus meatloaf. soooo good, i couldn't eat all of it. so i give the rest up, 3 dudes and 6 bites later, donezo. we walked around downtown and met up with nick weir and the ruckus kids. those things are soooo gnarly. we are sitting there talking and this older harley couple comes up to ask question. i know enough to get me through it but i was thinking "i've never even ridden one." HAHAH.

saturday night i went to go see the senna movie. pretty good show, i would say. maybe i expected a bit more but it was overall still really good. i wasn't into cars, really let alone racing at that time in my life. storyline is '88 to 94' so i was 5-11 years old. it seemed a lot of people didn't know much or were just dramatic. but when the "crash" scene occured half of the room gasped. anyone into racing in general, it is a must see.

sunday i finished up the front end of the hatch. took it around the block to make sure everything is good and break in the new rotors. weird when i get in it i always feel like the brakes are "as strong as they should be". second trip around the neighborhood i felt better. just ready to hit the track again this weekend, it has been way too long.

 

oh and my buddy gave me 3 cases of free nos energy drink and a few shirts. bad thing is, i really only like the grape one. giving the rest away.
