If I remember correctly the Mugen one has 4 plastic extrusions that interlock into the metal part which I don't see present on yours. I can check mine later if you want.
Another Prelude crashes the scene.
Fascia (needs restoration):

What do you guys think I can do to save this?

Spoiler (I need a rear badge):

Sides (A big thanks to ICB. They were a great help, and I will continue buisiness with them. Hopefully aquiring even more Mugen!
):

Now I may be out of the loop, but I've come to the conclusion....and I confirmed with another source that BB1/BB4 Mugen panels were not stamped.
I need to find mesh that matches the original mesh, the brackets that connect to the fascia, and I need the headlight covers. don't know if I'm better off finding someone to fabricate brackets though. Any input is appreciated.

have all the little pits and chips sanded out with fine grit, like 320 or something like that. any other imperfections have them filled, high build prime, sand flat, paint up

Hmmm...but it looks like it needs a polish. I'm afraid if I do that, it'll just wipe out the kanji.

you can drill out those rivets, or cut the heads off from the backside to minimize damage, then you can even replace the tag with a new one

Looks like you already have a new badge for it. Why not have the bumper repainted and try to remove whatevers on the original one and if it doesnt work out just put on the new badge?
If its oxidation I would try something like CLR (everheard of that?) or if it's paint try paint thinner.
