Could probably sell them on Myspace for a pretty penny though...
"Yeah hi I'm Amy, I have an athletic build, blond hair, blah blah"
"Whoa! This bitch is as athletic as a whale could get!"

Right that's the same kit, just that car has graphics on it and some custom added lower fender flares.

No fender flares, but a Mugen wing, Mugen-esque rear bumper cover, and can't see the front to tell..
I have to guess they made a less agressive kit for normal street use that doesn't replace every single panel, or maybe even installed the hatchback kit on a CR-X just to make do?

Right you don't have to buy the pro kit in full, you can (well could have in the 80s) just buy bumpers.
But I do agree that rear bumper does look different (slightly) than the pro rear bumper

(sorry got you with a ninja edit)
I was under the impression that the Pro kit was made to be wider to accomodate the fender flares?
Similar to how they've done it with the Civic and Fit, there is usually a Sports kit and a Pro kit... The Pro kit is more agressive and the Sports kit is more of a street kit... The red CR-X looks like a Sports kit to me.

haha Ninja edit FTW. I agree the pro kit does look a little different, mainly where the built in mud flap area is. And the rear bumper for the pro is a little bit wider, but I don't know if it is wide enough to the point of where it would look dumb on a stock bodied rear fender. The wing is also noticably different, but I have never seen a mugen catalog documenting either of those parts. http://www.geocities.jp/chiibo_take/11193.JPG

I would happen to agree, by definition
Mint (adjective) - unused or appearing to be newly made and never used: a book in mint condition.
