My crx isn't worth crap. Not a problem though, for I will never sell it. Had it for 10 years, don't plan to ever part with it.

I dunno if I would do that because you would be messing with the strength of the seat at a molecular level I think, it would lose a bit of its strength I think.....

^^^ I'm not sure how that could work. That is ALOT of surface area to heat up and flex in all directions. I don't think I could even begin to apply a heat gun to mine.
