I just looked through the mugen 1.6ZC catalogue and they don't list a VC. They list a "big bore piston kit" (pistons, rods, wrist pins, rings, head gasket), a "super profile camshaft", a "sports programmed computer", a "special polished valve set", a "heavy duty valve spring set", a "special intake manifold" (basically just runners for ITBs or carbs) and a "special clutch cover". I wouldn't doubt that there is a cover out there, but it isn't in the catalog just as an FYI.

Sorry to be off topic with this, but has anyone seen the pics of a white 96-98 hatch from the falken tire showoff with a Mugen ek-4 lip I believe, k20 swap, mugen airbox, and its a real jdm car, right hand, with 5 lug.....
Heres a link to where I saw it ---> http://www.tunerzine.com/coverages.asp?id=147
its the 73rd picture, sorry, I would try and post a picture of it, but I cant seem to get it to work.
I was just wonderin whose it is and how he/she got the airbox to mount like that

correct. i believe you will have to use an 11" rotor. fastbrakes makes an 11" 4x100 rotor, that people use with spoon calipers and whatnot.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Just ordered a set of customs for S2000 calipers, paying 1,400$ for Mugen Active Gate (fancy german word for S2000) seemed a little dull. The rotors are really special since they need to be 11.8" diameter compared to type-r or spoon rotors

Yea I saw it. Looks like the box basically bolts up. The rest of the car is looking a little haggard though, should look nice after the front end gets painted.

OK, so let me get this straight.
All i have to do is get myself some S2000 calipers (& pads) and find myself some 11" rotors and they should work??
What about the brake lines? Do i need S2000 brakelines or do my stock ones suffice?
Sorry for the OT, but I'm a real nub when it comes to this stuff!!

11.8" rotors are custom, brake lines, I think the stock ones fit, you can even buy Mugen AGBS pads, but they're expensive. I'm not saying the mugen active gate isnt worth the money, but if you're like me and want to keep 4x100 then you might as well go s2000 custom

I know it wasn't you. sorry for the confusion lol. Just wondering if those are the one's that are being discontinued since mine should be arriving next month. I ordered them in the beginning of November.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I would think you should be good....if you ordered them in November. Probably comming in a container, and they take awhile to fill the container, then the boat's move very slow...

</TD></TR></TABLE>Okay the Mugen Airbox for the DC5/EP3 mounts to the transmission nothing else...thats why they can mount it in an EK with NO problem. Theres 3 bolts that hold it down and like 15 that seal it up
