Funny story, this just happened a few minutes ago.

I sale Hondas/Acuras for a living. This kid comes in driving a beat up 95 civic dx 4dr. I notice there is an intercooler and piping in the front bumper so I ask him, "whats done to the car?" He proceeds to tell me how how his spoon crate motor blew up on him and now he has a Mugen turbo. I was like, "ORLY? Can I see it?" After a minute of assuring him I had no idea what we where talking about and that I was better with visuals, he pops his hood. To my not so astonishment, it was a stock looking D series. He starts telling me all about his see thru distributor cap how he can gauge his spark by it. I said, "RLY?" He then points at his stock header missing a heat shield and says, that if I follow that tube under the car the mugen turbo was down there under the car for better cooling and less heat in the engine bay. The intercooler piping was coming up thru the fender and wasnt connected to anyting but I didnt let on that I knew that. I told him we just had a Mugen Si and I was pretty sure that had a Mugen turbo as well. We agreed that it did. I then told him to close his hood a take his baby home before some thief steals it. I then went inside a laughed my *** off and we all made fun of him as he drove off. The life of a car salesman...... </TD></TR></TABLE>

Psh....What kinda salesman are you

Guess the joke's on you

^^^You could probably make more $$ if you parted it out, although you could get lucky and find a buyer that would be willing to pay a fair price for the entire car as it sits now.

To answer your question, if it was me I would probably part it out.

Your car is one of a kind, I always liked it.

i've always liked ur ferio simply for the fact dat u have the whole Mugen kit on which is rare n dope at the same time...jus like Formula says ur car is one of a kind but if u were EVER to come to the conclusion that u wanted to sell it u'd prolly make the most buck by parting out all ur Mugen goodies

word. It's just that time of the year where the car is going to sit. I didn't even drive it enough this year to change the oil. which will be getting done anyways in october because the inspection will be up. it's not costing me anything to keep, but with the economy the way it is....if something happens the car will be the first to go. family and home are more important.

thats turbo intake would make a nice little Mugen hammer to hit idiots with

and as far as the Ferio goes...
you would make more money parting it out if you have/had them OEM parts to replace it with
sell all the "bling" and then replace it with the parts then sell the car complete

but if its not costing you anything to keep a paper weight with four wheels I say keep it.
The economy will jump back up once we get Obama in the house

Plus if US ever goes to war I hear there two things that can outlast an Atomic bomb

Roaches and Mugen
nothing more safe then sitting in a Mugen car while everyone else is dieing

I'd part it. Screw letting someone else take credit for your work or worse yet, destroy it.
