It was $1400 from Super Makuri

For $1500, Id rather get the TANGE carbon frame/custom yamaguchi/2 pista concepts &lt;---turn the other around for extra $$$

I feel ya...I dont see too many kalavinka frames being sold like makinos nagasawas and 3 renshos, any idea why?

 

how do you compare the FTP vs a comparable Langster or Capo?

honestly i don't see too many of those 4 listed. it's surprising to me as well because kalavinkas are 1300$ for a custom and a decent wait time

i have ridden either the langster or the capo.

i am biased against langsters for their sloping tts though

 

capos tt is sloping as well, but not as much as the langster

 

you two biased against slopes? racist!

i kinda like the Langsters though.

 

langsters and capos will probably be similar to the concepts and FTPs honestly.

i wanted something with aerotubing and a seatube cutout

I visited Kalavinka when i was in Japan. super nice guy, let us in the shop and showed us some frames he was working on. He gave us headbadges and we bought some shirts.

Kalavinka

Rensho's fetch big money because they are no longer made. Naga's just because they cost a fortune. I usually see Makino's go for an average price even with their rensho ties
