Well. I placed the order on May 1. It didn't ship til May 6 (they were still shipping out all the preorders). I got it on the 9th (3 days after it shipped). Theyre in TX.

I couldn't find the fixie for sale thread, but anyways, here's a good intro bike FS. 53 cm Iro, Celeste deep V's,Nitto stem and b123 flipped and chopped, MKS pedals, Fizik Aliante seat. I want $725 obo plus shipping. It's in excellent condition and just sits in my messy room, because I have no time to ride it.

I got my Nishiki all done today, just got back from a WONDERFUL 3mi ride super late after I got done putting it all together. Gearing is way too short, gunna get a bigger front sprocket tomorrow. Tons of fun though!

That would be stepping down...similar gearing to a 36 X 14 using a 16 in the rear would be 42 X 16. Similar gearing to a 39 X 16 using a 14 rear would be around 33 X 14.
Not 100% accurate but close enough rule of thumb is a change of 1 in the rear is roughly 3 up front.
If you want to "step up" using a 16 in the rear, get something bigger than a 42 up front.

Great info! May I ask why you would say to step down? Right now it accelerates well, but I realllly have to spin to keep any amount of speed. It's too short right now. I'm really open for opinions, I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. But it's a LOT of fun!

hot in the bay area today, just got done riding around, at 9pm, in bike shorts and a short-sleeve jersey. oh, i don't think i shared this with you guys, my road bike i've been riding on my days off from work these days:

That's the color combo I wanted to go with! Wheels and bar tape... I guess it's bc I fell in love with the colors on the Bianchis. Nice bike man.
