-is it possible to convert from spline to square taper cartridge?
-if so what size do i need?
-english cups?
TIA</TD></TR></TABLE>
yes.
size depends on what crank arms you get. idealy your aiming for a 42mm chain line
yeah you need engish threaded cups
i think i saw you post this on bikeforums lol. hope that helped. feel free to shoot me a pm if u need help w anything.
ps. im using the rd arms as well. your going to want the sugino 68x103 JIS bb. its like 20-30 bucks. be forewarned that that bb give your bicycle a road chainline of 45. so your drive train may be a lil louder. but w the right chain tension and properly lubed chain noise is VERY minimal.

unfortunatly no. as the sugino rd arms are are meant as "road double" crank arms. unless you found a 68x101 jis bb your good. but i have yet to see one. if noise is a big thing with you, you can also mount the chain ring on the inside of the arms. it just isnt as aestheically apealing

I would rather see people bombing through traffic and maintaining a high cadence on a track bike, than to see someone jump a set of stairs

YEEEAHH bro..
that was kinda my point.. and that whole thing about not being "fixie" of me? i ******* hate that word.. thats like a racial slur these days.. and again im not denying he has talent but to me a "track bike" isnt for bar spins and bunny hoping down stairs! if he has fun then more power to him to the overall thought of it all is the same reason i hate the trend FG "scene" and i am a Purist.. ive been straightedge for the past 12 years! how pure is that?!
