yup, i remember when i first heard of the Si on temple of vtec i think in 1998.. i remember there was a pic of it with the 98 front end, it was red with swirl type rims... the car wasn't out yet obviously.

In early 1999 I bought the Motor Trend issue where they tested a blue Si. I still have that mag btw then there was that Road & Track issue of the Si v. turbo beetle.. i didn't buy that one tho.

Then in June '99 I purchased my BNIB Si. I wanted the red, and i remember that I didn't even see the red in person yet until I saw mines at the dealer after they ordered it from another dealer.

Daily driven from 99-2007.. garage queen now

9 years and going

Yup it sucks. It's okay though cuz we have been meaning to park her car for like a week and re paint the front bumper. Her mugen lip was fine, thank god, but 8 years of rock abuse shows a bit on the bumper/hood. This is a good excuse to repaint the front end but add a cf hood in the mix, she wants to paint it and I say leave it cf...opinions?

Actually, it does matter and that's just one aspect I look into. I cannot tolerate the negativity that some people produce. I strongly believe that caused the downfall of the "EM1 Crew."

Also, with all due respect to you and your car, it just didn't make my first list.

Totally understandable(i know you weren't talking to me)

To everyone else.

I got tuned last night and boy does it feel great. It made 309 220 on 14psi (smaller t3t4) on a 2.25 inch downpipe. Car still has functional ac, ps, cruise and everything else. Once I get some mounts and a PCV system, I'll be getting bigger injectors and a sc61(along with a bigger downpipe )

Hey everyone long time no see....some of you know but for those that dont, economy is sucking and quit my realtor job and Im working as a waiter in a restaurant/bar. Kinda weird switch but its the only job that can fit my school schedule. But still my time to BS around on the internet has really gone down. Luckily I have SiJeff to keep me up to date since he is still riding the unemployment train at home..LOL. As for my EM1 its still live and kickin, I drive it about twice a week, mainly on weekends for fun cause I dont wanna risk it being stolen at school or my work. Nothing new cause Ive been heavy on saving money while I go thru this change in jobs. Between work, school and flying Im pretty swamped....dont feel like doing **** when i get home but watching some TV and sleeping. Ive been working on my CRX project a lil bit....for some reason Im not getting fuel to the front but after dropping the tank, the pump works, so there is a problem somewhere...cool new thread manny hope it stays up forever....I miss BSing with all you guys....NICE PICS BTW EVERYONE! THUG LIFE!

I'm one to jump on a oppuritunity when it presents itself. A friend of mine had it in his 98 R and he decided enough was enough. The car was tuned on 17 and made some doodoo numbers thru a cat and a crush bent exhaust. He daily drove it for 2 years on 9 psi. My stock ITR making 180 woulda gave it a run for his money. He decided to sell the car and we talked about it, and he'd be better off selling it stock and selling the turbo setup. I told him I'd give him my ecu(tuned for my itr motor), my itr long block and clutch and my JDM ITR header. I got his WHOLE turbo kit, turbo timer, wideband, Hondata, fuel pump. All of which was purchased new minus the turbo kit(well, charge pipes and wastegate and fuel injetors).

I'm happy with it for now, I'm already craving more power but my stock mounts don't like my power now. I'm taking it to the track and I'll baby it out the hole.

Yeah, let me know aswell.

It's a piston/rod usdm b18c5 motor. Wiseco 9:1s eagle rods. Honda bearings throughout. ARP headstuds. Stock headgasket. I added AEM cam gears(5 bolts).

It's a Garret T3T4 but it is a odd turbo, it has a wastegate flange on the bottom of it. Regardless I'm not THAT pleased with the final numbers. I'll be moving to a Sc61 or a 35r when it comes time to upgrade.

Aren't you a 84x89 motor?

I'm thinkin Sc61 because of price but a 35r spools SO nice.

What size downpipe do you have and what exhaust?

I'm getting a good deal on a RsR catback setup for our cars but I'm torn if I want to make power or be quiet. PM if you'd like. I'd like to see some pictures of your exhaust aswell.

Currently I have the stock muffler on it with the tip. Painted the muffler black. And I'm open downpipe.
