Question:

Did you ever paint your A/C condenser fan because it had rust on it? The one I picked up has a little rust and was thinking about painting it.

 

Thanks! They are whatever brand WekSos sells. I like them, tinted glass, perfect fitment and I've had them a few years and no problems. I think I paid less than $100 shipped for them too.

Actually there wasn't a spec of rust anywhere but my exhaust manifold when I bought it. I bet if you got some high heat engine paint in gloss black it would look fine.

Prob the most ghetto thing on my car lol I ended up buying a black beach towel folding it in half then rolling it up. I put it under the back of the seat to prop it up so there is no gap. I ended up using a zip tie on the loop that stickes off of the GSR leather bottom and zip tying it to the top portion so it didnt slide forward. TADA!

My car is black with black carpet and black leather in the rear so people never see the gap on the sides. Would prob be more noticeable if the car was red with grey carpet or some thing. I also have all the hatchback carpet/cardboard so you cant see from the rear and I have a harness bar and ish so people dont sit back there neway

 

Figured it would be fun to do a post like white slips so here is around when I bought it and last summer which is about 4 years.

Something i'm working on this winter. A few more exterior goodies and i'll be done on the outside. I still need to put my motor back together :-/. Plz don't give me **** about the ride height lol its missing something under the hood

edit: just picked up the wheels today, changing decals out for white/red

Anyone have the pic of the samba green? eg that had black/red 5 spoke wheels on it? I had it as my background but my computer crashed and I cant seem to find the pic on here.

 

Thanks man, trying to keep the outside looking the same but freshen it up on the inside now. I'm just taking my time and working on it when I have the chance. Next up is tucking the passenger side harness and ripping out all the A/C crap that has plagued me with problems for five years now......

Slips, what do you mean rip out your A/C stuff? I'm in the market for A/C stuff.

 

Correct the car used to be LS turbo. Don't worry there will be an intercooler there in a few months.
